The staff is phenomenal and Darryl Stewart, our client advisor, is so masterful at what he does, I swear he could have his o visit BMW of Alexandria. So my wife and I went to buy a specific BMW for her birthday on the day before. We happened to get paired up with one of the coolest and most easygoing gentlemen you'll meet. My wife jokingly hinted that since her birthday was tomorrow, BMW should get a her a slice of carrot cake if we come back on her birthday to seal the deal. We did in fact return the next day to purchase the vehicle, and joking again, she asked "So how about that slice of carrot cake?". Darryl played along with the joke like, "Wouldn't that be nice?". We small talked about being excited to get the car and he pretended to need to step away to do some paperwork. He comes back with an entire miniature personal carrot cake from a boutique cake shop and hands it to her, smiles, and says "Happy birthday!". WOW! His sincere generosity really almost made her cry. About the BMW, after looking at the vehicle we thought we wanted, Mr. Stewart helped us find what turned out to be what we were actually looking for. He quite patiently spent the time with us to make certain that this one was "the one". His expertise shows that he doesn't just know his BMWs, but that he's a genuine car enthusiast and knows a good amount about cars and motorcycles. He's thoughtful, patient, and respectful. Thank for the opportunity for feedback. This was by far the worst experience that I have ever had to deal with. My daughter is in DC, I am in Georgia. She went in for an oil change. Her appointment was at 1:15 this afternoon and did not get checked in until 2:00. So 45 min late already. She waited until 5:05 to get her car. I left numerous messages and never got a call back and had to speak with someone in sales to have the person go out with my daughter to figure out what was going on. Even the person that checked her in was shocked she was still there after 5:00. This is a prime example of a service person taking advantage of a teenage girl who brought a car in for a 1 hour oil change that took nearly 4 hours after arriving for her appointment. There was absolutely no communication with her during this entire endeavor. She missed a different thing she was supposed to be at around 4:30. I would appreciate a call back from the General Manager to discuss this and what they would like to do due as compensation for this ridiculous showing of service. I have had BMWs before and every other dealer has been great. This one was awful to the point I was ready to call Arlington PD to come in and see what the issue was. One positive thing, Isaac was great in talking to my daughter when she started to have some emotions due to the event she missed and had been looking forward to. Again, I expect a call from the GM as early as tomorrow. More
