Terrible Service department I had a good buying experience here, but after two dysfunctional attempts at service, I'll never go back. First, I was on time for my appointment. I had a good buying experience here, but after two dysfunctional attempts at service, I'll never go back. First, I was on time for my appointment. Four employees stood around chatting while I waited to drop my car off. They had no idea what service I was there for. No loaner car available, even though they wanted to keep the car overnight because they didn't know how long it would take. I went in for an oil change and they wanted to perform some recall fixes. Funny BMW never sent me a recall notice. I"ll drive 40 miles to Salem from now on. More

Airbag replacement & new ignition key programed We received a letter telling us to call the dealer and schedule an appointment to replace the faulty airbags. We called and made an appointment. Abou We received a letter telling us to call the dealer and schedule an appointment to replace the faulty airbags. We called and made an appointment. About a week before the scheduled day we received a phone call saying that the bags had not arrived and so we rescheduled. I mentioned the desire for a new key...OK, we'll deal with it when you come in. We showed up in Portland on the appointed day. I pulled out my driver's license and car registration to prove ownership. Then we find out that the air bags had still not arrived. No phone call to cancel. No taking of info for the key. The agent said we're sorry & will contact you to reschedule, so, we left. I received a call to reschedule as the airbags were in at which time I was told I needed to provide my license & registration before a key could be ordered. Another trip to the dealer to order the key. Why wasn't that done on my last visit? I received a call to confirm the key had arrived. The appointment & key programming went well. I was given a MAX pass & spent the 4 hours in Portland. Point of this long story: please get your parts and service people communicating with each other! More

I will only buy cars from David P. I have always hated the car buying process. That has changed.
