BMW Concord

A WONDERFUL buying experience!! I have been stopping by Concord BMW for a couple of years now, as I am an enthusiast of BMWs, especially the 3 Series Sedans. I have done my share of reading and research, and really enjoy seeing the cars up close. It just so happens that I met Ken about 4 months back while looking at the Certified Used BMW inventory. He was the salesperson that approached me. He never pressured me, and was very patient, very aware of the huge inventory of 3 series sedans that were there, and VERY knowledgeable not only of the options available, but on the history of changes the 3 series have gone through over the years. This last weekend my son and I had been at Waterworld cooling off and enjoying ourselves. I told him I wouldn't mind stopping by and checking out the 335d's that were in stock. After looking around, Ken just so happened to be the salesperson that approached us. He remembered our last encounter, which I thought was very impressive. He loaded us up in the dealership golf cart, and we drove all around the used car area. He showed me every 335d that was there. They have such an expansive inventory, it was quite fun! I told him they weren't quite what I was looking for, and he seemed to know from our previous conversations what I was looking for. I was in no hurry to give up my current BMW if it wasn't quite right. As a final stop, we went into the detail area where models were getting prepped for the lot. He found the space gray one he was searching for. It was perfect! It was the color I wanted, with the engine I was dreaming about. It also had the options I valued. As torn as I was in giving up my gasoline model 328, we worked out the numbers and it was a deal. My son was worried we would be there a while doing the paperwork, and Ken assured us it wouldn't be too long. It was quick, painless, no gimmicks or sneaky moves... Perfect! Ken Gonsalves is personable, professional, efficient and a real pleasure to work with. He even told me about his kids and family, which I thought was terrific. I had a great experience, and am the proud owner of my 4th 3 series. This is a great car, and he made it a great experience! More

He followed up with emails containing information about cars that met my criteria and took his time to explain all of my questions or research the ones he did not know the answers to. Dario also stepped in when Noah was not sure if he could hold the car on a deposit and explained their policies and was very personable - no pressure or crazy tactics that I have seen at other dealerships. Best Experience hands down Ken is in my mind the model salesman. He knows his product but most importantly he is sincere. The one attribute that is key in building relationships and repeat business. Ken has accomplished something I have never been willing to do when purchasing a car and that is be a repeat customer. So, anyone looking to buy or lease a BMW, I truly hope you seek out Ken Gonsalves. My review would not be complete if I failed to mention Alyce. Often times, the stress of buying a car only rises as you sit down with the Finance Manager and services are pushed. Not with Alyce, she was efficient and a true professional and also sincere. She was a true compliment to Ken. More

Great experience with Wendy Dahlstrom at BMW Concord for CPO I have to admit I didn't know what to expect especially as I'd dealt with several other BMW dealers in the bay area. But Wendy had the biggest select I have to admit I didn't know what to expect especially as I'd dealt with several other BMW dealers in the bay area. But Wendy had the biggest selection of what I was looking for ultimately (a blue 335i convertible with CPO) - frankly the only dealer with the various option package that I wanted. Upon finding the car, Wendy was very forthright and honest to deal with - I never felt like she promised something she couldn't deliver including pricing concessions as well as things that we wanted to have the dealer take care of. For example, the car had gone through CPO processing but still had a few cosmetic issues - Wendy immediately highlighted all the problem areas (including micro dings - small rock strikes that are hard to get out). While i did have to take the car back in - it was worth it. The car, although used, looks like 95% new. Wendy is highly recommended - very straightforward and honest. More

The generic high-pressure sales pitches from people who don't seem to care, or in some cases even know, about their product. Then there's BMW Concord. To keep this short let's just make this analogy: they're kind of a like an Apple store. You walk in, there's awesome products everywhere, someone will ask if you need any help, and if you do they'll happily answer all your questions, tell you what they think is cool about this one versus that one, and they have made an obvious attempt to make the actual purchase easier. Plus... they have a "BMW Genius". So it appears they are striving for this customer centric model. They're good. I hope all experiences here follow this pattern, but, just incase they don't, I worked with: Noah and Jennifer, with noticeable awesomeness from the sales manager and the "BMW Genius". More

For all of them, he made the entire process as painless as possible, and I was very happy with the price. For one of the cars, there was a minor issue with my trade-in. Every time I texted Gary in the morning to give me a call, he would call me back within 10 minutes or less--even outside of his normal office hours and on his days off.
