The service provided at this dealership was subpar and the quality of work matches. It does not seem like anyone here cares. Bad service! I called to make the appointment and let them know I needed my brakes and oil changed. When I called at 8:30am (Thursday) I requested for a rough es I called to make the appointment and let them know I needed my brakes and oil changed. When I called at 8:30am (Thursday) I requested for a rough estimate of how much it would be and the receptionist said she needed to transfer me to the service department and they would tell me. No one answered so I left a voicemail stating what was I was coming in for and the model and year of my car. I received a voicemail the following day (Friday), which was the day of my appointment, giving me an estimate- which I was okay with. When I got to my appointment that afternoon (3pm) he stated that he needed to check the car to see if he had the brakes in stock, if he didn’t have them he said he would call me and let me know and he would have them delivered the next day (Saturday) and they would keep my car over night. I didn’t understand why he didn’t check if the parts were in stock in the first place if he knew I was bringing in my car to specifically get my brakes done. I would understand if it was something they didn’t know about and it was a random part. 6pm came around on Friday and I reached out to the service tech and nothing. At that point I figured the car was staying overnight but no one had bothered to reach out to let me know. Next morning at 8am the service tech reaches and let’s me know he had to order the brakes but that the car would be done that day. When I asked around what time it would be done he said around 2pm but probably sooner. 2pm comes around and no communication from him so I reach out asking about my car. He says it’s just about done but that he would let me know once the paperwork was ready. At almost 3pm he notifies me to let me know that it is done. I wasn’t happy that I had to constantly reach out to the service tech regarding my car even though I had an appointment. I called and requested to talk to the manager but he was busy. I requested a call back because I wanted to discuss the lack of good service and he never returned my call. It’s not the first time I’ve had bad service. I went a few months ago to get my fuel pump changed because it had a recall. My car was there from 9am to almost 6pm and I had to call to see if my car was ready for pick up because no one bothered to call me then either. Then they couldn’t “locate” my car because someone had written down the incorrect number they assign your car when it gets dropped off. Needless to say, I’m never going back to Toyota in Buena Park. I’m going to try my luck at the Cerritos location next time my car needs to be serviced. Hopefully they have better service there. More
