I bought a used car in November of 2021. A few week later, I noticed a leak and thought it was oil (Im no mechanic). Brought it back and the GM had no problem sending it to service to take a A few week later, I noticed a leak and thought it was oil (Im no mechanic). Brought it back and the GM had no problem sending it to service to take a look. The mechanics added an oil die and asked me to drive it for a while then bring it back to see if they could locate the leak–no luck. I brought it back and they said they saw no oil leak. Fast forward 2 months– I took the car to get the oil changed at Toyota Glendale and they told me they found a leak. I took it back to Buena Park and they said, "We don't see a leak". I showed them the officialToyota service records from my oil change visit and the service manager Harley Hofmeister shrug it off and he sat back in his chair, looking at me through his nostrils with a "whatever" smirk on his face. I finally thought I got through to this guy because Harley Hofmeister said, "This is what I will do for you, bring the car in by 5:15 Monday and I will get you a rental car and we will check you car our really well", I said great. The weekend passed and I called H.H. to confirm this proposal and I got no call back. Moral of the story: AutoNation Toyota Buena Park WILL sell you a car with problems and will get over on you. So if you plan to buy a used car from there, know that they WILL sell you a car with problems and get over on you. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Its on you if you buy a used car from them. P.S. Harley Hofmeister (Service Director) is very much a xxxxxx-type. More

Chandler Mendoza did an excellent job finding us a pre-owned Highlander. He even went to pick it up from a dealer 40 miles in traffic. He was patient with all of our 75 year old "how's this work" t pre-owned Highlander. He even went to pick it up from a dealer 40 miles in traffic. He was patient with all of our 75 year old "how's this work" technology questions, saw to scheduling due maintenance, ordered a missing car mat and even gave us a full tank of gas - a big investment at $5 a gallon. We certainly recommend seeking his services if you want to take on the car market these days. More

Only reason I give it 2 is because the guy that actually helped me out was a gentleman. As soon as I arrived there was no one to greet, the guy in front of me looked just as confused if anyone was working. helped me out was a gentleman. Sat there waiting only to keep being told someone would be right with me, watched 3 cars come and go as I waited. Took a whole 45 min just to check me in. Very different experience from Longo. More

This service department is really busy. The wait time is not short by any means. In fact, the wait time here is unusually long for a good reason.
