Over the last year or so, the service department has been less than stellar, which was not the case previously. Realize some things are out of their control like supply chain issues, no computer chips from less than stellar, which was not the case previously. Realize some things are out of their control like supply chain issues, no computer chips from a factory that burned down, mechanics not working/available. I accept all of these issues and don't condemn them for those things. But beyond that, the customer service and communication is very poor. No one answers the phone when attempting to call for a service appointment, and there is no voice mail or the ability to speak to anyone. The only way to make an appointment is online and that can be problematic as well. The first advisor I worked with was extremely unhelpful, rude, and non responsive. I will never work with him again. Hank Thayer was the second service advisor I worked with and did help me get an issue fixed that the first service advisor refused to address. Hank was courteous, professional, and and responsive. I usually don’t take the time to write reviews, there has to have been something really impressive and satisfying for me to do so. August 8th was my lucky day. I was initially interested in a new Honda CRV to have been something really impressive and satisfying for me to do so. August 8th was my lucky day. I was initially interested in a new Honda CRV, a Toyota RAV4 or the Hyundai Tucson. After looking at all three the Tucson won hands down. The Hyundai Tucson was better looking, had better styling and a much better warranty. It’s hard to beat a five year warranty which covers virtually everything. And the word styling doesn’t really capture the look of the Hyundai Tucson. The other cars seemed to be cars where some new technology had been hung here and there because that’s what all the car companies were doing. The Hyundai obviously had more thought put into the design. There seemed to be a purpose in how all the instrumentation was layer out. There was a flow and it was very appealing. I fell in love with the car. I was please to find my 2022 Hyundai Tucson Limited actually at the dealership. At first I thought I would have to wait for what I wanted to be delivered. Mike Herron, the General Manager, at AutoNation Tempe, apparently overheard the conversation I was having with with my salesman, John Olsen, and knew the inventory so well so well that he called over to us and said we had exactly what I wanted right there on the lot. SOLD! General Managers in car dealerships are generally to be feared, in as much as they are often aloof, sit in towers and make the ultimate decision on whether the car deal goes through. Enter Mike Herron. He has to be the most personable person I have ever met. Mike was open, friendly, easy to talk to and totally disarming. I felt that I was being treated honestly. What a pleasure it has been to deal with AutoNation Tempe. I’ve had my new Hyundai Tucson Limited for two weeks, now, and I couldn’t be happier. Andrew Lawrence (seventy-three years old) More

I don’t know if the service writer was just over worked or what but it didn’t go as I was hoping. And yes he had to deal with an extended warranty Company. She have cars available for people to use if they or what but it didn’t go as I was hoping. And yes he had to deal with an extended warranty Company. Service advisor NEVER returned calls with any updates we requested. Vehicle was in the shop for 2 1/2 weeks. A good week and 1/2 over estimated time. The dealership is in a mess right now as the calls nev requested. Vehicle was in the shop for 2 1/2 weeks. A good week and 1/2 over estimated time. The dealership is in a mess right now as the calls never go through to anyone who picks up. I’m glad my warranty is about up as I won’t go back after it expires. Horrible service department. No customer service. More
