Brought my 2017 Hyundai in that we just recently bought from another dealership. Wanted to make sure everything was working and reliable for our 16 year old to drive before we send her off in it. I think I had the best person showing me my car, ever. Major shouts to Ivan C.!! In general people in sales are friendly, but usually a surface level friendly. It's a job and I understand they do not need to make long term friends with all their potential buyers. But Ivan was relatable. He was like hanging with a big brother or friend from childhood and the honesty and trustworthyness oozed from him. It was a relaxing experience. On the business side, he enlightened me with the history of how AutoNation was born, which was cool, he knew everything there was to know about the vehicle, he streamlined anything he knew I wasn't too concerned about and he made sure I knew everything about the car before I took it off the lot. Side shoutout to Annie in financing!! She knew the products, didn't attempt to talk me into anything I didn't want, but educated me on the ones that I did want, was patient and answered my questions (that I may have asked more than once) and after the few hours I had been there (they were REALLY busy!) without eating, I felt my sugars dip and she rescued me with a granola bar. I mean...who else has had a finance agent save them like that? So personal, so kind. I look forward to seeing both of them when it is time to do maintenance on the vehicle. Thanks Ivan and Annie!! Although the dealership is under construction the personnel made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Got a 2017 Hyundai Veloster which had been "inspected thoroughly" from them in early September and it's already got SEVERE camshaft/engine problems in December. It's been over a week since I dropped i thoroughly" from them in early September and it's already got SEVERE camshaft/engine problems in December. It's been over a week since I dropped it off at their service dept and they still haven't even looked at it (or given an ETA when they WOULD look at it) or acknowledged how bad it looks for a car they sold to break down in less than 3 months. Absolutely abysmal experience overall with time in the rear view, I will NEVER purchase from or do service with AutoNation Hyundai Tempe ever again. More
