Revised - Sales experience was good, but after that, the entire experience went to xxxx. First time here, Second time at AutoNation, First Chevrolet. Last time ever doing business with AutoNation. Sa entire experience went to xxxx. First time here, Second time at AutoNation, First Chevrolet. Last time ever doing business with AutoNation. Sales experience was good. Juan did his job well, and we were very happy with the process and delivery of the purchase. Bravo. From the morning after we brought the car home on February 18 its been downhill, and came to a fiery crash. Took delivery with 11 miles on the vehicle. (As new as it can get). The next morning, we received a systems warning for service (not critical, but definitely unusual for such a new car). We logged into the dealership site and tried to schedule an appointment. On February 19, the EARLIEST appointment we could schedule for a faulty system was March 12. That’s a 21 day wait. We spoke with our sales rep in the interim, and he offer for us to come by and he’ll try to get us in sooner. We all know any visit to a dealership for any reason isn’t a quick one, and with friends and family visiting in the interim time, we simply couldn’t carve extra time for an adhoc drop in. We arrived on March 12 at 745 AM for our 8am appointment, only to be told we don’t have an appointment. (This being our first visit to the service department, we were unfamiliar with the layout, the valet quickly says, in Spanish “go to #3” and walks away. Ooookaaayyyyyy. After figuring out where he wanted me to go and sitting down, I was confronted with the RUDEST, most insensitive advisor I’ve ever encountered my 25 years of buying and servicing cars in 5 different states. She proceeded to say “Well, you don't have an appointment so you will be waiting all day right?” “No, I have an appointment” and presented her with the appointment confirmation. “Well we don't have it here so it’s not our fault, if you want you can go speak to the service manager”. I explained we waited a month for this appointment and this was really unacceptable service for a car with (now) less than 1000 miles, which has been faulty since leaving your lot, and inquired about a rental. She denied my request saying “Take it up with the service manager” and adding insult to injury, when I explained it was the fault of AutoNation her colleague next to her literally laughed at me. I left ‘room #3’ to search for the service manager on my own since she refused to get him for me. I asked someone, and he explained the service manager wasn’t working. We are currently pending a hopeful reply from our sales team to help escalate this before we file a complaint with GM and escalate using all legal avenues. Really? THIS is how we treat clients? This is how we treat our customers? This is the welcoming experience you provide to a first time client with a problem? You’d better re-evaluate your values and the people you hire. As I mentioned this is not my first go around with AutoNation. It is certainly my last. There are plenty of options when it comes to buying and servicing your vehicle. Stay AWAY from AutoNation and AutoNation Chevrolet specifically. More
