I just had the worst experience at this dealership, even though I am a returning customer who has purchased 3 corvettes from them. Back in April 2021, I've reserved a spot for a Corvette C8 at MSRP price, f though I am a returning customer who has purchased 3 corvettes from them. Back in April 2021, I've reserved a spot for a Corvette C8 at MSRP price, for those of you who don't know the market, this car is a hot commodity, and if you don't get yourself in a list you will end up paying a lot over MSRP in this type of car. Back in November 2021, I've received a call from my sales man stating they had a C8 in the floor, beautiful car, but is not the color that I love, but the numbers offered to me made sense and traded in my C7 Corvette for this one, but maintaining my spot in the list for a future order of a C8 with the specs that I wanted from the beginning, in the meantime I was planning on enjoying the blue C8 that I've purchased. A week ago I've decided to go to Autonation Chevrolet of Pines to check what was my spot on the list since more than a year ha passed by since I've put $1,000 to reserve the spot, right in there I've meet the most despicable car sales man that I've ever meet in my life, his name is David Labella, it happens to be the General Manager at that location. Mr. Labella mentioned that my spot was secured, but that I needed to wait another year since the demand and shortage of this type car was delaying the whole process, and my answer to his explanation was that I was fine waiting and I just wanted to check for my spot that I've already had a C8 and I was able to wait; right in there he said he was able to work something out if I was willing to trade in my blue C8 for this new Red C8, and he was going to move my order and let me build the car since I was trading in my car, I've told him I was going to think about it and was going to get back to him. 24 hours later, I've decided to move on with the deal, and emailed the specs of the new C8 to Jorge Estor, he is the sales man assigned to me for this deal, he is a good and decent man who was just passing the message from Mr. Labella. Next day I received an offer for my blue Corvette and I've agreed to their terms, later on I've received another email from the sales man stating the following: "Mr. Labella is charging $20,000 over MSRP on Corvette orders, on your order he's only charging $10,000 over MSRP, there are no MSRP orders at this time, they will take more than a year to get". That was so disrespectful and shameful, obviously is not the sales man fault, is Mr. Labella's wrongdoing, how can you charge me $10,000 more when I was on a waiting list for over a year and Mr. David Labella was the one who offered me to be moved up in the list only if I was trading in my Corvette? This guy wanted to make money in my trade in, which I was in agreement, but to charge me $10,000 more to place an order when in fact I was on the waiting list? Today I went to dealership to get my $1,000 dollars deposit back, and this so called general manager did not even provided me an explanation, he totally ignored me, and gave the sales man a receipt for my refund. I have never felt so disgusted with the business practices of a dealership, how can you mistreat a customer who already purchased 3 cars from you and on top of that wanted to charge me 10k more just like that? I wan to believe that he does not represent the core values of the Autonation family, I do not want to believe that Autonation is in the business of ripping off customers the way David Labella is doing it, the management from Autonation should be informed about the wrongdoing of their employees, but I am aware Mr. Labella does not inform management about these events. I hope Autonation does something about this incident, and I definitely do not recommend anyone to go and deal with David Labella, he is not a man of his word and on top of that he is looking to take money from his customer in a very dishonorable way, he really makes Autonation look bad. Took car in for rough idling and received a call 9hrs later saying it would be a few days before they could get to it. I HAD AN APPT. I pressed and they had a tech supposedly look at it the next day and later saying it would be a few days before they could get to it. I HAD AN APPT. I have been using this location for all my cars since 2000. The service adviser Shiv is the absolute best keeping me up with the progress of my car. When getting service they do not give you a loaner and expect you to leave your car with them for weeks to months. I have purchased 3 vehicles from this location and I will never buy a vehicle again from expect you to leave your car with them for weeks to months.
