March 6th, 2013 – My experience at Audi Auto Gallery in Woodland Hills, CA I purchased a 2010 Audi S5 4.2 on 5/31/12 from Pano Argyropoulos. He was personable, professional, and enjoyable to deal with. Thank you Pano. If you want to purchase a vehicle, I would ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND Pano Argyropolous! The purpose of this letter is to describe the SERVICE experience I received when I came in for my 35,000 mile maintenance. I mentioned several issues I was having with my car: Sirius Satellite option not available on the MMI 3G, reception is poor with local stations, power steering vibration/noise, passenger visor clip was broken, lack of power sometimes when accelerating (seems like secondary valves weren’t opening), a discrepancy in temperatures from driver to passenger side when set at the same degree, and what it would cost to fix my trunk liner as the previous owner had an aftermarket stereo that I removed. Good news: they gave me a complimentary Q7 loaner car, and they replaced the visor clip free of charge. As the Audi maintenance has already been pre-paid through 45,000miles, the 35,000 was no charge. They did sell me on a premium oil and fuel service ($34.95). Total all in $38.10. The bad news: they told me that my car did not have SiriusXM available. After looking through the Audi forums online, I mentioned they simply needed to reflash the MMI to update the software. I told them it came standard on all 2008+ A5/S5 with navigation. I showed them the traffic option on my Nav but no option for the radio. They said they would have to call Audi to verify. They also said they would call me later to let me know what the progress was. I never received a phone call. They state in the paperwork they could not verify the reception or the power steering noise. I had my car parked next to the Q7 I rented and had to show them the same radio station was playing. Result: my car with static, Q7 crystal clear. Their response, “oh, ok.” As for the power steering noise, I could not replicate that at the time either. I also could not replicate the “loss of power issue” so I will have to deal with that at another time. As for fixing the trunk they said, “It’s expensive.” What exactly does that mean? $400? $4,000? They never brought up the temperature difference and if it was addressed. With everything else that wasn’t fixed, I forgot to show them. I was not completely satisfied with their answers to the issues I was having. After leaving their dealership at approximately 9:30a, I called Rusnak Audi in Westlake Village to see if they could get me in. They said it would have to be a walk-in and I could come when I wanted to. I drove the car to my office and then to Rusnak Audi in Westlake Village at lunch, approximately 16 miles. I mentioned to them what I just went through and picked up my car from the 35,000 mile service an hour ago. They said they had an A5 not too long ago have the same issue with the Sirius Radio (okay, maybe I’m not crazy). They said they would look into the power steering issue. They told me they would have an answer as soon as they could. I received a call several hours later. Their first words were, “We have good news.” I asked if there was any bad and they replied “No.” They reflashed my MMI 3G (as I suggested to Audi Auto Gallery) with the software update and they FILLED my power steering fluid as it was way below the minimum. The Rusnak tech stated the PS resevior was almost dry (the service ticket provided by Audi Auto Gallery checked the power steering and put a green check mark next to it signifying it was all good). Rusnak Audi also provided an AMI cable to me free of charge so I can use my iPod! Today, I had no power steering issues/noises. I subscribed to Sirius Radio. I also, listened to my iPod for the first time in my car. All this is thanks to Rusnak Audi in Westlake Village. As for the Auto Gallery, I still have not received a call about the availability of Sirius in my car and I have to schedule another time to replicate the other issues I was having. Needless to say, I won’t be scheduling anything with them ever again. I was thinking about driving down there to see what they thought about the sound quality and channel availability with Sirius. I had originally had written a great review for this dealership and with working with Parisa - however, after the purchase of my vehicle, the dealership had completely screwed me over. Parisa was very nice and tried to get me the best deal possible.However, the finance department, namely Courtney Kitsuki, has turned my so-called amazing experience upside down. They had given me a due bill with a certain amount - only to stiff me by a lot of money - which they still refuse to give me. Courtney did not respond to e-mails or phone calls, and is completely violating the contract. I even tried contacting Parisa to help me, but no response. I am now forced to take them to court to get the money back that I deserve. I would have happily even paid more at another dealership if it didn't mean I had to go through this process. I am a firm believer in signed contracts and people of their word, but this dealership does not stand up to this. Also, not only that, I traded in my Audi A4 to the dealership over 2 months ago, and I am still getting tickets and notices from the dealership because they did not properly turn over the title or work with the DMV, thereby tainting my name and credit and putting me into huge risk. I am in talks with Audi corporate and am forced to action due to my consumer rights. I recommend saving everyone the legal hassle and to go to the many other upstanding and honest Audi dealerships. I had expressed interest through USAA online car buying service in a specific used 2011 Audi A8 offered by the Auto Gallery. I was quickly contacted by Parisa Jahan. Upon arrival,an attendant immediately directed me to a convenient parking space. I asked for Parisa and was given clear directions to where I could find her. When entering the dealership,everyone was polite and friendly and seemed genuinely concerned about my comfort and convenience. The negotiations for the purchase of my A8 and the trade in of my Cadillac were very businesslike and fair with a minimum of negotiation. I was very satisfied with the purchase price and with my trade in allowance. All details were handled in a professional manner. Instruction on how to operate my A8 was also thorough and professional. All of the staff I dealt with were excellent. My salesperson,Parisa was kind, accommodating and was very professional. I felt confident in her ability to complete our business transaction fairly.
