Generally, I've been very happy with the service department and after sales client care. The service techs have always been very helpful. I was a little put off when I showed up to get my car 3 week department and after sales client care. The service techs have always been very helpful. I was a little put off when I showed up to get my car 3 weeks ago after getting a call that the car was ready. I called to find out what time and they said they were open to 7pm during the week. I worked like crazy to adjust my work schedule to get my car that that evening. When my wife and I showed up at 5:15pm to get the car, one of the entrances was closed but we saw another car go into the other entrance. We went to the service entrance and found it closed. Then a car pulled up and a guy started yelling at us from his window that they were closed and asked us if we were stupid, didn't we see that tge entrance was closed? I told him we saw someone pulled into the other entrance, and I had received a message to pick up my car until 7pm. He yelled again that they were closed and to get out of the parking lot because he had to go. He was so condescending & rude I couldn't believe it. I found out the next day that they had decided to close EARLY because they had WON Dealership of the Year and we're having a celebration party at the Cog Hill golf course. They apparently failed to tell any of the people who had cars in for service of their change in plans that they were closing early. I would have their Dealership of the Year award rescinded if I had the power. I will likely be going back to Phillips Chevrolet for servicing and purchases in the future. I purchased 2 cars from Phillips and 3 from Apple and being treated poorly by Apple who wasted my time on the day I couldn't pick up my car, and then having to make alternate plans to get my wife back and forth to her work on the second day, was extremely inconvenient. Add in the worker who was extremely rude and condescending to us, I have a real bad taste in my mouth with Apple. More
