My vehicle was having trouble starting after it just cut off during an attempt to pull away from the gas station. Had it towed to Firestone who, on Saturday, diagnosed that the ignition switch need to be re off during an attempt to pull away from the gas station. Had it towed to Firestone who, on Saturday, diagnosed that the ignition switch need to be replaced but they can't program the the car which requires a dealership service center. I scheduled a service appt on Sunday through the online scheduler that confirmed my appt for Monday at 0800 was accepted and scheduled. My son shows up at 0730 and I even called to explain the issue. First I was told the online scheduler doesn't always work which they knew about it for months and would probably be up to 24hrs before they get to it due to being behind schedule on other cars already there. They gave my son a ride back to college campus to wait for the repair to be completed which wasn't too big a deal since he was on spring break. Checked on the car through the website as requested by service department but never got a response until Tuesday after giving an unhappy face satisfaction through the same message portal. Tuesday, I was told that it had been assigned a technician and if I don't get anything by the end of the day then it would be Wednesday. Wednesday, I was told that it had been assigned a technician and if I don't hear anything then it would be Thursday. Thursday, I requested another update through out the day but didn't get a response. So after being on hung up on and calling back a second time to wait on hold for over 30 minutes I got the same story and would be ready on Friday, and the original service advisor was out for the day. I explained the unacceptable service and what's been happening up to that moment, we're not from that area and we live 3hrs away and all this time my son is waiting. I was then told that a service advisor would get my message and would be in contact with me on Friday to follow up on the issue. Then the college sends out the notice everyone that can needs to leave the campus by the end of the day on Friday. Friday morning at 9am I called back to get an update which I was again on hold for awhile and was told my service advisor wasn't in that day again, they are still backlogged and would probably not get to my car. So I requested to talk with the service manager (Holley) who would call me back and the service director (Fred) wasn't in to work. The service manager never called. No one cared about my experience and since I wasn't getting any responses I have to say no one was passing along any information as they said they would be doing. Since my son had to leave campus we picked up the car to attempt the 3hr drive with the same issue unresolved. They seemed to move more quickly to give us back the car and pick up my son from campus to reduce their service workload than to talk to me about my concerns and lack of service being given being my car had been there waiting since Monday at 7:30 am. This dealership is by far the worst experience to be given and the lack of care given to an active duty service member and their family. If they can treat customers like me as a service member in the military without any sense of pride as a representative of their business the I have no choice but to believe they will do it and have been doing it to everyone else who isn't in the military without any disregard. DON'T USE THIS DEALERSHIP TO GET SERVICE WORK PERFORMED!!!! I hate to think how their sales person's act to customers looking to buy a vehicle especially after the purchase is completed. Service of 2014 Cmax energi Holly was outstanding, thorough and responsive. One of the people sat on the leather seat and had put pin markings all over the cushion and when they couldn’t be detailed out she had the cushion replaced. We have owned 15Fords and this was by far the best service experience in 40 plus years of Ford ownership. More
