I informed her of a care plan I had with my other Hondas in the metroplex and she disregarded the information. She said she had never heard of it. I found said plan on her website and she remained adamant that she had never heard of it. She continued to be dismissive toward me and I became flustered. This was also noted by another customer who noted the interaction and they became angry as well. The rep called someone and got the information I had already provided about the plan and did not even apologize for insinuating that I was an idiot. The only reason I scored the dealership higher than 1 star was because the other people at the dealership were helpful and polite. Without the initial rep, the dealership would have gotten 5 stars. Don’t recommend We bought our car on June 12 from Jourdan Mauney. We had came in at about 630 on the night of the 12th just wanting to look at the vehicle and she is very good at her job and talked us into buying it that night. We had already had our credit unions preapproval check and her sales manager (Jacob) ended up talking us into letting him go through some of his people to see if he could get us a lower rate, which he did it dropped our rate by .8%. The process of actually getting the loan approved ended up taking well over two hours and we had our two kids in tow. They said the issue was that the car was so new that they didn’t have a stock number and had to call around to find it. During this time Jordan had said once Jacob was able to run our credit with his companies that we would be able to talk about the price because we also needed to add in an engine block heater an oil pan heater since we are moving somewhere very cold. After that he had spoken with the companies he had already approved everything as well as our contract and Jordan assured us that we would be paying less than 30K out the door. While signing all of the papers with their accountant we had realized that the price had ended up being over 32K. After all the paperwork was completed and we were getting the keys from Jordan she only handed over one key fob stating that they only had one. With me paying $32,000 for a 19 jeep Cherokee with only 7000 miles on it it should have came with two key fobs. Over the next week I had more than 5 phone calls to Jacob the sales manager, I believe, trying to track down this other key fob or get them to give me another one. The best he said he could do was to redo our contract and work it into the contract since he wasn’t able to track it down. Which would mean I would end up in the long run paying over $400 to $500 for key fob that only costs $80 before programming. In our contract we did have it written in that they would add the engine block heater as well as the oil pan heater, after two weeks of not receiving a call to schedule an appointment with the service department I had attempted to call two times around 1 PM and they did not answer my phone call. You could actually hear them pick up the phone and press the button to hang it up. Right after that I called and spoke with the receptionist and she said that she would get in touch and have them call me back. It is been two days and I still have not received a callback. We leave for Alaska in less than six weeks and it is extremely important that we get these piece installed, especially since we’ve already paid for it. All in all I am not happy with our experience at Honda of Abilene. I wish we would have been able to talk about price, actually been told what the price was before we were signing paperwork with the accountant, I wish we had a second key fob or that Jacob would have helped us in getting us a second key fob more so than just stating he could put it in our contract, and I wish the service department would answer my phone calls and at least attempt to schedule a time to put these parts in my car that I have already paid for. More

Amazing and friendly I wasn’t in high hopes of being able to get a vehicle with no down payment or a co-signer because of some credit issues. I got approved for a payment lower than what I was expecting! The buying process was painless and enjoyable. I highly recommend Honda of Abilene! And Mike also was super helpful with the finance process and explained everything in a way I understood. More
