After attempting to do a local search for a vehicle, we had a less than stellar experience with a local dealer. After walking out the door of that dealer, we began a new search for the car we were looking for, only to find that we may have to travel almost 6 hours away just to find a decent deal. But then, after a little more internet shopping, I located the vehicle I was looking for just above my price range in Abilene. I called up Honda of Abilene, told them my price point, and they dropped the cost nearly $1,000. Then, we took off on a two hour drive to see the car and (hopefully) finalize the purchase. During the drive, we were able to work through all the details for financing, warranty, etc. When we got there, we took a test drive, signed the papers, and headed home with the vehicle we wanted all along at a price that we could afford! The best part of the whole experience was that it was the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of the experience we had locally. We never felt like we were working with the typical "used car salesman" type. Patsy Bigham was straightforward, honest, and did the deal without forcing us into any additional costs we couldn't afford. Financing was also a breeze! I would recommend that anyone looking for a car try Honda of Abilene before trying to deal with anyone else. We were very satisfied, and would make the trip again in a heartbeat! More

It would have been only a half hour, in fact, but for the need, pointed out by the technician, for a new air filter. I am quite pleased, then, with my decision to have all my oil changes handled by this dealership. The process takes no longer than it does at "quick change" independent businesses, and I have the added peace of mind that, during the visit, a trained, knowledgeable staff will be looking over all my automobile's needs. Dealer of my life!!!!!!!! I had seen this truck online and contacted the dealer, with my recent divorce and life in shambles, I had a F150 Platinum and it was taken from me in I had seen this truck online and contacted the dealer, with my recent divorce and life in shambles, I had a F150 Platinum and it was taken from me in the Divorce. A day hadn't gone by that I didn't remember my beautiful silver truck that I no longer had. With life and my struggles, I didn't know how I would get this truck, but I wanted it and I mean bad...... Initially when I contacted the dealer it was a little out of my price range and having a father that was a car salesman I knew all the pitches and deals that sometimes you have to be patient. I was driving my dads 2004 van and it was a struggle to be enthused to get up and go anywhere in it.... Don't get me wrong, I was grateful to have any sort of transportation, but after Thanksgiving (Thank goodness for apps and internet, I had turned on the price drop notification). I had been contacted also by the dealer a couple of times before the price drop but sat patiently waiting for me to be able to afford it and if it was God's will I would (well God's will and these wonderful guys at Honda of Abilene). Price dropped on Saturday morning and my notification came on my phone. I sent Shane Davis and Steve Burgh a text saying, I will be there to get my truck this afternoon. It was a duplicate almost of the truck that was my dream truck. Silver F150 Platinum, the only difference was this one had chocolate leather, my previous did not, but I knew it was meant for me...... They responded back to me immediately and started working on it. This was imperative because I live in Ft. Worth and Abilene is a bit of a drive, so after they confirmed they got me financed I hopped in the old van (which gratefully my dad had given me title to) and I hauled xxx all the way to Abilene. Shane had to leave before I got there, but I arrived about 5 minutes before 7 when they close and because they cared about me and knew that I deserved to have a 2nd chance in life Steve Burgh stayed late and because of both of these guys and my patience.... I took my life back and I have my beautiful F150 Platinum Truck (its even the exact same year as mine was). I feel like a million bucks riding in this truck and I owe it all to them for caring about a lady who had hers taken from her 2 years previous and the joy in my face when I got there told the whole story. Steve took care of all the details and I got out of there around 8, another thing most people wont do is work late these days but he did. I didn't get to meet Shane he was already gone but he worked with me and Steve to get the deal done. Even having a father in car sales all my life and knowing all the xx that comes with that, these 2 guys gave me a whole new perspective on a car dealership and if I can recommend any dealer for anyone, I would drive another 250 miles to get my deal with them and I was soooooo excited they were going to put gas in it for me but I was too excited I drove off and forgot to let them. Thanks to Steve Burgh and Shane Davis, you made my new slogan on facebook a reality "I just took my life back" and I owe them all the glory that comes with that. I think of their kindness and dedication to help me someone with terrible credit and a job I haven't been in but a few months, but they got me affordable good financing and delivered it to me within just a few hours of my notification I was headed their way as soon as that price dropped. My words to anyone besides these are the greatest car salesmen ever is patience is also a virtue when shopping for a vehicle. You cannot find the truck I bought anywhere with the miles it has on it for under $28k-$30k, they saved me thousands!!! I paid no where near that and told them I am forever grateful. I will be contacting them, IF that is IF I ever need another vehicle..... More

We tried going through numerous other dealerships with no help, and no trust in their service reps. After a 5 hour drive to the dealership, I found the price and travelling to be well worth it. GREAT customer service when you walk in, wonderful people who treat you as a human, not just a sale. I will be coming back for all my auto buys in the future and am recommending to everyone I know. He informed me & put in an order for the replacements. He did not use " pushy " sales techniques, which I greatly appreciate. He was kind, thoughtful, & professional in his approach.
