As I explained to Mr. Brennan, we do not know what rebates a customer qualifies for so we advertise with them all in the price. If you qualify, the rebate is yours for the taking. We do not benefit one way or the other as it is cash from the manufacturer. We would be glad to give it to anyone that qualifies. I called Mr. Brennan and tried to make him a deal but the vehicle was out of his price range. I hope he understands it wasn't anything but he did not qualify for the military rebate.

Mr Williams did contact me to try to work a deal, but he was totally unprepared for our conversation. He did not know basic details like which car I was interested in, or what was quoted during my visit to the Studio. He came back with a much higher price, calling this his "cost". When I called him out on it, he quickly back peddled. At one point I thought we were close to making a deal, but then when I asked for "out the door" I got another ridiculous number. It was clearly more than sales tax and tags added in. The car isn't out of my range, it's just not worth what they want for it. My original offer was fair based on national sales figures from a popular website. It still hasn't sold. Again I wish them luck.

Obviously Mr. Brennan is just trying to trash us. I did not know the peticulars of his deal because I am new to the dealership and I am honestly responding to him and calling him and trying to work it out. As you can see he is responding publicaly here, for what? If we can't make the deal, we can't make the deal. Some customers just expect you to lose money to do business. Unfortunately you have to draw the line somewhere.
