I was told that if I were to travel to and purchase car from Fiat of Winter *** BUYERS BEWARE *** This studio will lie to you just to make a sale. I was told that if I were to travel to and purchase car from Fiat of Winter Haven that I would be able to get it serviced at ANY Dodge Chrysler dealership... Upon investigating this is not the truthful accurate information. ONLY Dodge Chrysler Dealers that have a Fiat Dealer within their particular chain of dealers can service Fiats and NOT at ANY Dodge Dealer as stated by Pete. After my discoveries my husband called Pete and he admitted to lying says they are in business to sell cars whatever it takes even if it means lying to consumers as long as they make the sale. We also did look into some of the features of the car and were shocked to find out that a spare tire is an option and the cars sold without a spare tire have all the bolt and screw holes in undercarriage of the vehicle where the tire should be, and rather than seal the holes properly or put bolts in so that water does not splash up and rust the rear end out Fiat feels that 3m silver tape covering holes is enough even though tape starts peeling the second water hits it. Again when question about this Pete treated my husband and myself as if we were uneducated implying we were stupid for not knowing a spare tire is an option. Again Pete lied and said how many cars have you looked at because no new cars come standard with a spare that is an option with ALL dealers not just Fiat. We had to defend ourselves that we have looked at multiple cars / dealers over the past three months to make the most educated economical decision in making a purchase, and again the information he was providing was not accurate nor truthful. Most new cars a spare tire is included in the selling price and is NOT considered an option. The only vehicles I have come across that considers a spare tire an option is the Fiat and the Chevy Spark which again surprised to find ANY dealer at all that would consider a spare tire an option, but at least Chevy puts the proper screws / bolts in holes as to prevent from rusting and so that you can add if you so desire. Needless to say my experience with Fiat of Winter Haven was the most disturbing appalling experience I have EVER had. I realize people lie in this world but to be lied to repeatedly and to that extreme extent is horrifying, especially from what I thought was a upstanding dealer. I advise anyone looking to look elsewhere, and if your heart is set on Fiat go to another dealer that does not admit lying to their customers just to make a sale. Thank you Laura More
They will bend over backwards for you to get you to purchase a vehicle. But after purchase if the car has problems good luck getting service. If they cannot find a solution to the issues at hand they say "it must be Casper the friendly ghost" causing the problem and that it should be taken to another service place or to take it up with the manufacturer because they are washing their hands of it my problem not theirs. Their words "they are out to sell cars not repair cars already sold!" (and paid for in cash I must add)... The Manager Pete was very rude, condescending, and admitted to "lying" to customers. Lying to me was Pete's exact words he used to me before he hung up on me knowing I am a two hour drive away and was not able to come right over to address the issues at hand. Never thought I would hear a salesperson / representative Flat out admit to lying to a customer before. It is Extremely shocking really. I wrote a very nice review upon purchase and was very happy to do so as Tony had requested me to. They were very happy to stay 20 minutes late so I could make the purchase and to take my payment in full. But when it came time to deal with issues they stepped back and said too bad your problem even though car is still under warranty take it up with manufacturer not us. I have Never in my life been treated so badly. I suggest to new Purchasers look elsewhere because you will not be supported once the purchase is final and you drive off the car lot. Truly a shame I loved Fiat And went well out of my way to purchase one I am lost as to how to proceed further to get my vehicle in proper working order any suggestions from other consumers would be highly appreciated erudolph23@yahoo.com More
The car we looked at was a used mustang. Average driving 15k a year times 4, an u have to figure another 60,0000 miles extra on the car! Manager immediately said, "We did nothing illegal". Not once did we ponit the finger saying so. My whole point here is if the car was a good used car,before i took that long ride, the Manager (Pete) should of said by the way.......the cars odometer has not worked in 4 yrs!!! I would of stayed home!! Thats all i want to say but this review will be deleted like the rest! I have already called the news8 an wrote to the news paper about this "legal" practice! sincerely, Michael Noble More
Car shopping can be a stressful experience. After talking with numerous dealerships, we decided to go with Fiat of Winter Haven. Not only for the love of the Fiat brand, but because Amanda and Pete talking with numerous dealerships, we decided to go with Fiat of Winter Haven. Not only for the love of the Fiat brand, but because Amanda and Pete we're both very helpful and professional right from the start. They removed the stress and made the experience a pleasant one! In fact, when we're in the market for another vehicle, Fiat of Winter Haven can expect to see us again! We would highly recommend this dealership to family and friends. Keep up the good work! As the staff at Posner was unable to answer questions concerning my car, they refered me to the Winter Haven dealership. As it turns out, I really appreciated that because those salesman and Steven McCullum were truly interested in helping me.. Shane Gaines performed an excellent job presenting the Fiat 500 to us. We had a test drive to get the "feel" for this size of vehicle.
