We walked into Advantage Toyota on Saturday, September 3 looking for information about the RAV4. We had certain criteria that we felt that we needed in a small SUV and every question that we had was answered and carefully explained by Frank. We spoke about the regular RAV4 and the sports model of the RAV4. We went for a test drive and we were very pleasantly surprised about the smooth ride, the storage area and especially about the lumbar support in the driver's seat. Frank handled everything - he checked in with our insurance agent, he took care of our cash payment and helped us decide on a particular security system for our car. We picked up our car today (September 7) and we are so pleased with our new "addition" to our family! We will be recommending this dealership and Frank Hussain to our friends and family. Great experience. Although I paid a little more than I expected it was worth it. They also gave me a reason deal for my trade-in vehicle. I went to Advantage Toyota last week, i was greeting by a sales associate name James Grecco. He was really good as what he does, he take his time to help, explained to us all the procedures and what we didnt sales associate name James Grecco. James Grecco answered my questions about what was involved in buying a new car while my leased car was being serviced even thou business like manner. When I had six months to go on the lease,I shopped around and came back to Jim with what I wanted to pay for my new car. He came up with a reasonable price and I felt that even though I could have been a tougher negotiator, the deal he put together made sense. A month later I came back and purchased a second new car. I negotiated a little better and Jim Grecco put me into a leased car at the monthly payment I wanted to pay. James Grecco is a credit to Advantage Toyota and to any person he sits down with. A true sales professional in the best sense of the word. More
Salesman James Greco greeted us within minutes and listened to what we had in mind to buy and helped us locate the specific vehicle we came to see and took us for a test drive. He took the time to explain everything in detail and went over the difference between the new model and pre-owned, went over the figures with financing and ultimately helped us make our decision to purchase new instead of pre-owned. I originally leased a car with this dealership three years ago through a friend. I returned this week to discuss my end of lease options. My friend no longer worked there so I was helped my Tony Oliveri. It was quickly obvious to me that he was not knowledgeable about the vehicles that he was showing me. I was then helped by Gus who was very nice and knowledgeable. However, everything I was told by Gus about a possible lease deal on a new car was quickly rescinded by Sam- the dealer ship manager. Sam proved to be very unprofessional from the get-go but because I am a loyal person, I laughed it off and decided to go ahead with a deal on a 2011 Camry SE- which I was told on Tuesday, came equip with satellite radio. I returned to the dealership on Thursday to test drive my car and sign the papers. I noticed while driving the car that nothing happened when I pressed the button labeled "sat". I let Tony know and he said that it would work upon registering the car with XM. Several minutes after returning to the dealership Tony informed me that the car does not have satellite radio as he originally said. I waited to speak to Sam to see what he could do about the mistake and his response to me was basically that I should have known the car didn't have satellite radio. Me- "How should I have known? Your salesmen said it did" Sam- My salesmen are new- they don't know anything. Tony "We could get you into the V6 which 'I think' has satellite" Sam- "She could never afford the V6" Me- "..." Walking out the door. I quickly started calling other Toyota dealer ships- I told them exactly what happened to me. I found out that Millennium Toyota in Garden City actually owns the Advantage Toyota dealership and four other dealerships in LI (not to mention the guy on the phone was super salesy and said he needed to meet me before he could tell me the prices on the cars). So I called Westbury Toyota- the sales man on the phone was even toned and understanding. He did not sound like a predator (for once). We made a deal over the phone and when I arrived at the dealership- HE decided to do better on the deal by offering for me to have satellite radio installed for no charge and they painted the bumper on my old car for free as well.
