Hi Depusoir, I hope you're enjoying your RAV4. Thank you for bringing your Social Security card to our dealership, as was required by the financial lending institution. Mohammed told me that he explained to you how no Toyota Dealership has corporate Toyota staff on premises, and that dealerships employ Finance Managers, such as Mohammed, to submit financing (loan) requests and work hard to get them approved. TFS (Toyota Financial Services) is a corporate institution that doesn't deal directly with end clients at Toyota dealerships. In your case, Mohammad submitted 9 loan requests; 7 of the 9 were declined; the remaining 2 were conditionally approved, pending your bringing in required documentation (such as your Social Security card). Though your loan approval was conditional, Mohammed nevertheless let you drive home in your new car as a courtesy and good-will gesture, based on good faith. You agreed that you would bring in the required documentation to get your loan officially approved. We're glad that everything worked out well for you in the end. We feel that Mohammed went above and beyond to get your loan approved - based on your credit score - and even let you drive the car home on a Sunday, before final loan approval had been decided. Mohammed told me that you had agreed to increase the star score and comments in the reviews you left on DealerRater and Google+ based on the outcome of your complaint. I agree that he may have gone beyond with getting my credit approved based on my lack of history and I am thankful but this is beyond that. This is about the other issues that arose during the transaction. The deception and lies that went on during the transaction. I went into the store with an agreement already made via telephone and then was shaken down for another higher deal. Additionally, the way he spoke to me on the phone when I questioned bringing in a copy of my social security card was degrading.
