WORST DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE EVER!!! BY FAR!!! BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AT A DEALERSHIP!!!! BUYER BEWARE OF THE WHITE 2006 HUMMER H2!!!!!! On10/3/2015 my wife and I flew from New Hampshi BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AT A DEALERSHIP!!!! BUYER BEWARE OF THE WHITE 2006 HUMMER H2!!!!!! On10/3/2015 my wife and I flew from New Hampshire to Maryland to pick up a white 2006 Hummer H2 we were purchasing for almost $30,000. The vehicle was described by John Huth as "the cleanest Hummer he has ever seen" and "this one will not disappoint" Upon seeing and inspecting the vehicle we were very disappointed. The first thing I noticed was the front bumper trim had been cracked and was now held together with black ELECTRICAL TAPE!!! No that is not a joke, the tape appeared to be new, not at all faded or shrunken. The interior smelt moldy, the seat tracks were rusted, there was black mold on the roof and in body seams (areas that are hard to clean). These are usually signs of a vehicle that was flooded. Several pieces of trim on the right side of the vehicle including the mirror and passengers seat have white paint overspray on them. There are signs of bad body work on the right front door. The door does not line up correctly when shut. The door and hood appear to be a slightly different color than the rest of the truck. The tires, including the spare are severely cracked from dry rot and are not safe. This was especially disturbing since the employees at the dealership knew we were driving the vehicle 400+ miles back to New Hampshire. I was advised that the vehicle had been detailed before our arrival. The interior had coffee stains on the side of the console, pen stains on the seat, white paint on the passengers seat, from somebody painting the outside of the truck, very sloppy indeed. Several other dirty areas that a proper detailing would have removed. We were LIED to about the condition of the vehicle, and lied to about it being detailed. The vehicle is supposed to have 44,000 miles on it however wear to certain areas of the vehicle lead me to believe the mileage is not correct. The Carfax history shows yearly mileage reporting up to 2010 and 31,000 miles. For almost 6 years there was no reporting of the mileage and now it is showing 44,000, or only 13,000 miles in 6 years. I believe the vehicle sat for a time after being flooded or in an accident. The dry rotted tires attest to a vehicle sitting for a long period. I believe the interior became wet from a door or window that did not close properly after an accident resulting in the moldy smell and rusted metal parts in the interior of the truck. I am in the auto salvage industry and very knowledgeable and experienced with assessing the condition of a vehicle. The dealer claims the vehicle was a new car trade so the history of the vehicle may not be known to them. It did not take long for me to see the flaws in the vehicle so either the staff at Adams Jeep is incompetent or simply does not care about a potential customer wasting hundreds of dollars and their time traveling across several states. Putting a new set of tires on a vehicle is one of the easiest and least expensive things a dealer can do to make sure a vehicle is safe and sellable, again apparently they do not care about their customers. Most dealers would be embarrassed to have a vehicle in that condition presented to a customer for sale. The absolute worst part of the whole experience was the unprofessional attitude and behavior of John Huth, the used car sales manager. My wife and I were obviously dissatisfied with the truck and disappointed at having spent money for airline tickets, taken time from work, and now having to spend more money to rent a car and drive over 6 hours home. John Huth offered no apologies, made no offers, or attempted to help us in any way. Our very presence there seemed to annoy him and he instructed Keith Cook (who was very professional and helpful) to "GIVE THEM BACK THEIR DEPOSIT AND GET THEM OFF MY LOT!!!" He was angry and condescending to us. Talking down to my wife and arguing with her and insulting her. Some guys might have put John Huth in the hospital for treating their wife that way, but a snake like him is not worth it. More

Note, this dealership in Aberdeen is well worth the drive! We were blown away by the awesome customer service and personalized sales experience. Our sales consultant, Randy Horsey, took the time to inquire what we were looking for in terms of style and features, and assisted us in identifying a few options that met our criteria. Once we narrowed it down to a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, he worked with us on price to make sure it was a very fair offer. We never felt pressured or intimidated by the process. In fact, it was the first time that a car buying experience was so much fun! We would highly recommend this dealership, and Randy, to anyone who is looking to buy a Jeep! I went to 5-dealerships looking for someone who would listen to me and and build what I wanted. I wasn't in a hurry and I wanted it done right. Long story short my journey brought me to Adams. I emailed them and Keith responded that day. I told him what I wanted and he said no problem just come in and we will build it. I set up a meeting and drove from PA to meet with Keith. I have to say I have meet many car salesman but Keith was your stereotypical salesman. He listen to me wants and built the jeep of my dreams. Chuck in parts was also equally amazing. He made recommendations based on my build that only made it better. The guys called me and texted to jeep me updated. I have to say even I pushed the limits by texting Keith at midnight because I had a question. Not expecting a reply until the next day, Keith replied with the answer. My jeep jk rubicon cam in and these guys put all the mods on it from my dream list. I have to say it exceded my high expectations. This jeep is a beast and built for off roading big time.
