Thank you for the email. It bothers me very much for any of our customers to feel this way. I am trying to piece together what may have happened here. I sat down at length with Rick who you worked with earlier in the month. He also set up the appointment for this past Saturday for the timing belt and the warranty seat belt buckle as discussed. I also reviewed the entire chain of events with Holly who worked with your wife this past Saturday. I apologize for whatever the confusion or miscommunication may have been as to the State Inspection. We did not have any notes for either visit to perform a state inspection on the MDX. Rick had notated on the invoice when you came in that the left outer tie rod was in need of replacement due to safety along with the alignment, and replacement of the broken rear sway bar links. There is a note that the MDX would need a state inspection. Again, I apologize because there was obviously this miscommunication about the maintenance of replacing the timing belt that needed to be done and the items that would be needed for the state inspection to be performed. I am here to help resolve this. This is not how we do business and I am sorry for the confusion. I realize that the car is most likely back at school with your daughter, but I want to make this right for you. I am more than happy to pick up the MDX within the state of Massachusetts, get these state inspection items repaired at no charge to you, and then return the MDX to her for the inconvenience. Again please accept my apology on behalf of my Advisors and let me make this right. I can arrange this any day of the week that works for you and your daughter. Please contact me at your earliest convenience and I will set this up.
