I wish I could say long story short, but it isn't.. BUT IT IS WORTH READING FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! I ended up at this dealership on Thursday afternoon, I left with a 2011 Acura TSX l IT IS WORTH READING FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! I ended up at this dealership on Thursday afternoon, I left with a 2011 Acura TSX lease 3 hrs later. I was satisfied. I gave $1100 down. The next morning around 11 am, the sales person called me asking if I had any co-signers. I was quite surprised but still went with someone whom I told them may not be approved. That person filled out the application and we wanted to wait for an answer. We were told by the sales person to drive the car, "go about our day, not to worry" and that he would call us back. I did not feel at ease driving a car that I was not yet approved for. I never heard back that day. On Saturday morning, I called, I was now transferred to the leasing manager, whom told me that I needed another co-signer as the first one did not qualify. I put him on 3-way with my son, they took his application over the phone. We called back Saturday afternoon and they told us he was declined as well. We then made the decision to return the car, we called ahead but no one took our call and we left messages. Finally, on Sunday morning, we showed up at the dealership to return the car and they told us that turning in the car was not an option, even though I was not approved, I was not yet not approved....??? Scott, one of the sales mgrs refused to sign anything that we returned the car. The night before, I drove back from dinner with the new car and had to conquer my way through 4 seperate traffic accidents on the highway, one involved a car that was not recognizable and there was debris all over the highway, it was literally an obtacle cours and a back up of 10+ miles... All this with driving a car that I'm not even approved on....? I called Monday morning to speak with the leasing manager whom I signed the paperwork with, Mr. Kalouf, he acknowledged I turned in the car and told me that he needed to speak with the GM to get approval to refund my deposit. I called back a few hours later and spoke wtih Mr. Malouf, in the middle of our conversation, I heard someone say "what is this woman's problem?". I spoke to this man, whose name I do not have who told me that he is "too busy to deal with real customers", that I'm wasting him time, said "bye bye"and hung up on me. I wrote an e-mail to Mr. Malouf and copied the Gen. Mgr., Seth Finkel right after stating that I am appalled with this incident and wrote in my e-mail that although I did not know who decided to join in on the conversation, I would sincerly hope it was not the GM. A few hours later, I received an email from the GM assuring me that it was not him on the phone and that he would call me the next day after 1 pm (today). I responded by sincerely thanking him for his response. The GM called me today. He was quite defensive from the start. This is where the puzzling part of the story starts: he told me that I did not have any right returning the car (even though I am still not approved at this time) AND that the moment I returned the car, the dealership stop trying to approve me. GOOD!!! Then he went on to say that if I do get approved, the car is my obligation. I had already asked the leasing mgr which bank(s) they are trying to approve me with. Per him, it was only one bank, Honda Lease, the one that is on my application. I called that institution several times, as well as Acura Leasing, but yet no one has any record of my application...? I conveyed such to the GM at which point he told me he works with 20 different banks and if I do get approved, the car is my obligation..... This was just after he told me that the dealership stopped trying to approve me as of Sunday....? I was quite polite, but he would not let me talk. I asked him to simply refund my deposit as I am not approved, nor with co signers and he told me that I will not get my deposit back, that he will report me to whomever and suggested I contact an attorney. After that, he told me we had nothing to talk about anymore and told me this conversation was over and hung up on me.... I have since filed a formal complaint with Acura Customer Relations. I must duly give credit to John Toscano, our original Sales Rep who was truly professional throughout the whole ordeal... In conclusion, I am appalled at the lack of professionalism from this dealership, right down to the GM. As I am writing this, still have not been approved, they have the car for two days now and still have my money... More
Hmmm... where should I start? Oh yes, I drove 3 hours to get to this dealership. When I got to there, it was sort of raining and there were a few... I guess service guys, (who knows), standing outside talk get to this dealership. When I got to there, it was sort of raining and there were a few... I guess service guys, (who knows), standing outside talking and doing nothing. They didn't even greet me or ask me any questions until I approached them and interrupted their conversation. The salesperson I worked with, Sam, was very BLAND and DULL. He kept asking me what I wanted to do. Obviously look at cars, what else, I wanted to buy something that day and I had my mind set on seeing a few vehicles. This "is" my money and my responsibility after all. Sam seemed like he was in a hurry and when I test drove two cars, it was completely awkward. I received one word answers or short answers whenever I asked him questions. He didn't speak unless spoken to the majority of the time. The most he said to me was, "What do you think about this car, I would buy this car." Okay sure. You're advice is sound. I don't know if that's how he treats his customers, but that's garbage. I boggles my mind how he received an award on his desk for being some sort of "excellent salesman", at first I thought I was getting lucky. I think he's in the business of losing sales, maybe this dealership likes losing customers. Usually a good salesman would generally know a thing or two about the vehicles they have in their lots. That's their job. I asked him how long Honda's typically last since he told me he owned Honda's and he told me "forever" with a straight face. Yeah right, and the Boogieman is real. I guess so in this case. His demeanor was too serious and awkward, not personable at all. I started getting annoyed because he wasn't working with me; he seemed like he had other things on his mind. I decided to call it quits and walk, I practically wasted my day, I already knew I wasn't going to get pressured since I already knew he was trying to be somewhere else. He left in his personal vehicle after I left. Don't waste your time... especially if you're coming from a long distance. Go somewhere where you'll be treated right. More
I was a little apprehensive about doing business with this dealership after reading all these reviews. I am in retail myself so I do understand you can't make everyone happy. I also searched their websit this dealership after reading all these reviews. I am in retail myself so I do understand you can't make everyone happy. I also searched their website and came across what seemed to be an endless list of live pre recorded customer testimonials. I then decided to give them a shot at my business. The salesperson Sam was extremely professional and the manager Luis was also very professional. We negotiated the price for about ten to fifteen minutes. I already had a number in mind but ended up paying a little more only because they where my local dealer. When I saw the finance guy Larry,he also was great and extremely funny. The next day I came in because I left my sunpass in my old car I was extremely surprised I was greeted by the manager and the finance guy and congratulated once again. I guess if I only were to have read these reviews I probably would not have done business with them but being in retail myself I know how hard it is to make everyone one happy and I also understand there are two sides to the story. So far so good with theses guys. They even give you free car washes. As many as you want! More
After being told I'd get a discount, when we got down to the deal, they decided not to give me what they said they would. Three managers later, I guess its my fault for trusting them in the first place. the deal, they decided not to give me what they said they would. Pretty much was told a used car (which i ended up buying) had passed Acura's 102 (or whatever) point inspection and nothing was wrong or out of place. Well i went to a dealer because i thought since they had passed Acura's 102 (or whatever) point inspection and nothing was wrong or out of place. Well i went to a dealer because i thought since they wore an Acura badge i thought they could be trusted. Basically my car was in a major accident (prior to me buying), had half of a body of a red RSX welded to it. Bunch of self tapping screws when i took off paneling, leaking of the trunk. 2 years later fading of the paint on the side of the collision. Self taping screws to hold rear bumper to rear body (caused rust to form and will eventually cause rust holes). Rear driver wheel axle is was not aligned properly and causes it to sit more to the rear (which cannot be properly aligned until i buy a new axle and have it re fitted). Try to get things fixed on it, got the run around for a while, gave up, came back during a period i had more time, complained, complained some more, ended up with nothing. well 6 years later not much i can do. moral of the story, dont trust them, get your friendly mechanic to check out a used car. Other then that they are very friendly and always trying to sell you a car with a big smile. More
Called in the for the offer on the TSX Sportswagon as advertised in newspaper that week. Was told the price, terms and conditions. Went to dealer, car was there, price terms and conditions were the sam advertised in newspaper that week. Was told the price, terms and conditions. Went to dealer, car was there, price terms and conditions were the same. Easy peasy, in and out. Donald and Mike were fantastic and a pleasure. Mike even drove the car down the next day. I would recommend both the car and the dealership. Thank you, Alex More

Hi All, Go to this dealer ship if you are rich and Hi All, Go to this dealer ship if you are rich and ready to spend any amount they ask you. Also don't go there to look, you have to buy if you go o Hi All, Go to this dealer ship if you are rich and ready to spend any amount they ask you. Also don't go there to look, you have to buy if you go otherwise they will take you to a private sit out and call you ridiculous and ask you not to waste their time. Here is the experience we had: Myself : looked around and we like 2010 car. Sales person : The price is X price+ taxes+dealer ship fee etc. Myself : The new car 2011 is same as price X why should I buy this car, I might as well get a new one.I want to buy 2010 and save some money. Sales person: Give me a number, what you think. Myself: I did lots of research on forums, kbb, edmunds and gave him y number (Mean while I give my toyota car keys to evaluate it for trade in) Sales person: Goes in and comes back say's are you drunk? I guess the water you just drank has some alcohol. Myself: Just tell me if it works out or not.We dont want to waste your time and my time and we would just leave. Sales person: Give me a closer number to X. (Mean while evaluation of my trade in car comes and he said 8200. Car Max evaluated the same car and offered us 11500.We didnt tell him that tough. we just said we will not trade in our vehicle. Let us just talk about the price) Myself: I can do y+1000. Sales person:I cannot give this car for that price. Look for another one on lot. (We go around the lot with another lady and we didnt like any. We told her, we are not in a hurry to buy a car and let us know if you get a car that has more miles on it but with in our price range) Myself: Thank you for your time. Let us know if you find any other car that meets my criteria. Sales person: (He goes inside. We wait for our toyota car keys that we gave for evaluation. Scott comes back and calls us into a private sit out , far from other customers) Then he started calling us ridiculous , you have wasted our time, you guys are drunk etc etc. Some other guy also comes in and starts the same things. What I think, every customer has a right to speak. We haven't been rude to them, we just let them know what we think and according to our survey it is the price that others have paid to get that car. I also called the general manager to let him know what happened and he did not listen to us either. I thought its very important to let him know but in vein. Hence I want to alert people who go there. They can get very rude on you watch out!!! Isn't the their trade in evaluation ridiculous, $3300 difference???? More
