This is the worst Acura in the nation, and I can say this because I've been to several across the US. I've been twice, and the only way you would catch me going back is if I had no other choice. My home acur because I've been to several across the US. I've been twice, and the only way you would catch me going back is if I had no other choice. My home acura is Pompano which is where I usually service my vehicle. In August of 2019 I had my car serviced and cabin filters replaced. In September 2019 I hit something on the highway and knocked lose the plastic cover under the car. Being the closest acura, I brought my car to Pembroke Pines where they did a routine inspection. The "routine inspection" came back that I needed my cabin filters replaced.... I told the guy I had just had them done. He looked worried that I wouldn't give him a good survey so he asked to check them himself. He did, and would you look at that? BRAND NEW cabin filters inside the vehicle. I let it slide and did not complain as he apologized a bunch, and instead of leaving a bad survey, I just didn't leave one at all. Fast forward, I bring my car back in for service as it's up the road from where I've been staying recently.... I told the service guy ahead of time about my experience prior but did not go into detail.... 1) I dropped my car off at 8:30am - he told me 90 mins max, I never heard anything else- at 10:45am I called myself for an update, he was VERY RUDE and it turns out the car was ready but it needed "a bunch" of other services.... right off the bat, I knew it was fishy..... I told him no thank you I'll go to my own Acura- and he goes oh well your car is ready then.... *eye roll* makes me wonder how long he planned to just have my car sitting in the parking lot without a phone call to advise me on said services or to tell me it's ready.... I get the routine sheet of what is recommended to me for my "necessary services" and....... nope, no plot twist here- it says my cabin filters need to be replaced. The same ones I already saw with my own eyes at the end of September 2019. I do not trust this place at all. I think they steal money wherever they can from people. Also come to find out- they didn't even put the bolts back to my plastic engine cover. I brought car in for service at Pompano beach 3/10/2020, one month after- and I can confirm again that my cabin filters ARE STILL CLEAN. Pembroke Pines also said I needed a bunch of other things besides the cabin filters- and Pompano beach clearly stated I didn't. Will not be returning. Fraud. More
