Hi Mark, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a detailed review. I have had a discussion with both our Service Manager and Service Director. Some modifications were made to the vehicle, which led to the initial diagnosis that needed to be carried out. As per your request, we did tighten the loose starter, although the work was performed elsewhere. When our mechanics took a look at your vehicle for the oil leak/oil filter, we did advise you that the oil change had been performed elsewhere, and we couldn't simply replace the filter because when the oil change was carried out a non-ford filter was used. We were under the impression you were going to return to the location where you had the initial work performed for further inspection and recommended filter replacement. Academy Ford is always here for our customers, if you wish to discuss this matter further, please contact the Service Director at 301-419-2700.

I did the oil change. I was told oil filter I put on had a hole in it, and that was cause of leak, and new one was being put on. The oil filter did not have a hole in it. What part of that is confusing you?? Do not try to make modifications as reason I was lied to. Once again. A mechanical knock and a loose starter that was not making noise in first place are two different sounds. Figure it out! Google Ford S550 Mustang 2k knock. Loose starter was not reason for original diagnosis. Get real. The only thing I need to be told by you is where leak was coming from! Since oil filter had no hole in it. Once again I was told oil filter I put on had a hole in it. It does not have a hole in it and is still on car with no leak! Are you still confused?? The ineptitude is deafening...
