I bought my new Ford Escape from this dealer in October 2019 and had no problems at all during the purchase. Recently, my Ford Escape was rear ended and I brought it to Mike and Simmy at the body shop. I cannot say enough good things about how they fixed my car and treated me throughout the process. They dealt with the insurance company, got all new Ford parts for the repairs/replacements, kept me updated during the repair process, and just did an overall amazing job. On top of that, my car was incredibly clean and in immaculate condition when they returned it to me. Just a completely professional operation all around and I would recommend this dealer to anyone. Academy Ford claims the buyer is responsible for what ACADEMY FORD had to put into the vehicle to prepare it for sale. Somehow you are responsible to pay this…nearly $2000 (for our particular situation) on top of your sales tax, dealer processing fee, title & registration fees. NEVER, EVER have I experienced this in all the dealerships I have purchased from. BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS WHEN MOVING FORWARD WITH THE PURCHASE OF A USED CAR FROM HERE BECAUSE YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT ACADEMY FORD HAD TO PUT INTO THE CAR TO PREP FOR SALE…when they should have gotten it from the person who traded the vehicle in initially for another car. Incredibly questionable ethics and integrity at this dealership. More
