I also got a fair price for my trade-in towards a vehicle that better suits my current needs. Thanks again , Kevin. More
I have been to several dealerships and greeted by pushy arrogant salesmen, this was not the case at Bayside Ford. I brought my 2005 Mustang in for break work on May 27th,, estimate was 1300 plus dollars...they called me told me they didnt have all the parts , and to come pick up the car , they told me to bring my car ba estimate was 1300 plus dollars...they called me told me they didnt have all the parts , and to come pick up the car , they told me to bring my car back in on Tuesday ( monday was a holiday ),, so i brought it in tuesday night so they could work on it Wednesday day. Got a call that they couldn't find my registration to give me a sticker.. so i left work early, went to registry got a copy of registration and went in to pick up the car and to bring the registration.. was told that the emergency break cables that needed to be replaced were on backorder. after waiting hour and a half because they ran out of adhesive and had to send someone out to get some. i was brought to the front desk to pay the bill, was told the E brake cables were ok for now,, but needed to be replaced so bill came to 900 plus dollars,, which of course did not include the 300 plus for the emergency brake cables... when he was going over the bill with me he said ohh they gave you a rejection sticker, i guess they didn't pass.... now i have a car with safety rejection , that is not supposed to be driven and no idea when the cables will be available,, i was told they will put a rush on them and get them asap, anyways after 3 weeks of biting my nails driving with rejection sticker was told they were on back order until july 27th, 2 months after i first brought my car in...ford gave no reason like they were being manufactured or something just that the release date was 7/27. i can see if i went to a chevy dealer and asked if they could get them that it would take awhile,, but this is a ford vechicle, with ford parts at a ford dealer.. WHAT ????? anyways the guy that was helping me thru all this was very nice and trying to be as helpful as possible,, even went as far as asking , if they could get them at a salvage yard would i be ok with it... needless to say after after 3 weeks of calling every other day and fear of being caught driving with rejection sticker , i went to a brake specialist and got the work done there and got a sticker.. funny thing is the cables didn't even need to be replaced,, they just had come out of the calipers which the guy said can happen if you don't use them alot and they needed to be lubed,,and it only cost 120.00 ...200.00 cheaper than ford was going to charge me for new ones,, i am out the 29.00 for the inspection sticker because i paid ford and then had to pay them also, but with the savings it was well worth it,, and i now have a sticker,, huge weight off my shoulders,, anyways FORD YOU MISSED THE BALL ON THIS ONE. We had been to a few other dealers before this one. When approached at Bay State - there was no pressure. David walked us through everything we wanted to know without feeling like we were pressured. Once we approached at Bay State - there was no pressure. David walked us through everything we wanted to know without feeling like we were pressured. Once we decided to purchase the car, David handled negotiations with ease, and once again we felt comfortable. The next day when we picked up our vehicle, David was not there, so he had arranged for Alan to take care of us. Alan was also amazing. He explained everything about our car to us, while always assuring us that we could always call with questions. Everyone we met at BayState was friendly and approachable. It was the best car buying experience we have had. We wil definitely be recommending them as well as using them in the future. More
Kevin met with me and my wife as soon as we arrived. He asked if he could be of service to us. I replied that we had an appointment with Miss Monterio at 11:30. He said he would get her for us.
