My first time buying a car and Jose Amaurys made it such a wonderful and easy experience for me. I called ahead of time to make the deal since I lived about 2 hours away and it was a haggle free experience. a wonderful and easy experience for me. I called ahead of time to make the deal since I lived about 2 hours away and it was a haggle free experience. When I arrived he had the car pulled up ready for me to test drive. Tarek in the Finance department was wonderful as well and even helped me in obtaining the tax credit on used EVs, something 5 dealerships I dealt with were too ignorant to deal with. I hope my vehicle last me a very long time but when it eventually goes out I’m praying those two still work at Five Star Ford so I can buy my next one from them. More

I am certain that for the most part 5 Star is a wonderful dealership... as long as everything goes smooth. Unfortunately, my transaction was and has been anything but smooth. First, 5 Start stated I was full dealership... as long as everything goes smooth. Unfortunately, my transaction was and has been anything but smooth. First, 5 Start stated I was fully qualified to purchase, so I went to the lot to fill out all paperwork and provide all documents as requested. Then there was a problem with the vehicle like a leaking radiator... well... OK. Then it took over a week to get one in. This is after I gave them a down payment of $2000. Then I find out they will deliver the truck in a couple days. Total from application to delivery was 15 days. Then I find out the original lender turned down the deal because I had started a new job, but credit rating was fine. Resigned all paperwork. Well, 5 Star in all their brilliance, filed the original lender as a lien holder... massive MESS!! Sales manager, Brian Huth was contacted numerous times only to be forwarded to finance (who created the mess and the sales person who knew nothing about what was going on... so he says.) Interest rate was given to close deal was quite high.. but I really wanted the truck so I went through with it. I then contacted different lenders other than those referred by 5 Star and received an approval for numerous points below the quoted interest rate by 5 Star Ford. Now 6 Weeks later after the new approval, I now find out that 5 Star filed the lien with a different company other than that in the funding package and I cannot pay off the loan with the new lender until 5 Star gets the title back that they mis filled and then get it refiled with their approved lender so then I can get the loan paid off through the new lender at a much lower interest rate. Don't call sales manager for help... won't return calls or do anything to solve your problem but refer to others who don't get anything solved. Don't trust finance referrals... get your own financing before you go to the dealer.. they will mark up the interest rate numerous percentage points above where you should be so they make a higher profit. Maybe this will get worked out... however. after contacting the title department, and others, and even sending an email to the General Sales manager with no response.. after 4 months... it still is not all resolved. I keep getting promises from 5 Star but... nothing ever seems to be in any effort to resolve the issues. I give this a 2 Star in rating only because they had the vehicle, I wanted and it is in wonderful condition... though the services level at this point should be about minus 4! Caveat emptor!! Let the buyer beware!!! Follow up on this initial review. After 7 months and having to do all the follow up on all topics and items… not a single call from 5 Star for a status to anything… we finally got the final answers. My refinance that was fin6ally achieved after 5 Star finally fixed the title filing problem lowered my interest rate over 6% points from their closing documents stating it was the best offer they could find. Only they didn't say who got the best deal... I refinanced in 2 months later. Watch out for that overpriced used car warranty from Trident Protect. Initial cost was $3,700. I cancelled the warranty and had expected a premium return for a 24 month period somewhere around $2,900 range being generous. I only had it in effect for 3 months and 4 days. The cancellation has to go back to 5 Star Ford and in the end wrote me a check for just over $1,500. In other words… if you cancel the warranty… 5 Star makes sure you don’t get all you are entitled to in a prorated warranty… nor do they explain any of this upfront. Forget calling them… it is the “whose on first” routine. Perhaps others have a much better experience than I did. Of all the cars or trucks I have ever bought…. This was the worse experience of dealing with a dealership EVER!! In my opinion 5 Star should be more like 5 Cactus because they are such a pain to have to deal with. Good luck to those who engage that dealership!!! More

Upon arrival early Saturday morning, I was actually overwhelmed at the amount of inventory and choices with which to pick from. I met my salesman Raed Ashkar, and the sales manager, as they were actual overwhelmed at the amount of inventory and choices with which to pick from. I met my salesman Raed Ashkar, and the sales manager, as they were actually doing their morning lot walk. I ended up leaving and going to other Ford dealers in the area, but returned early afternoon to Five Star Ford, found Raed, and got the truck purchased within an hour or so. They have great staff, great inventory, and Raed is actually one of the most professional, and knowledeable salesmen that I have met! More
