I took my truck in October 14, 2025 and they had to keep it. During that time the part for my truck was on back order. I received a loaner vehicle from Mac Haik. Took my 2023 Silverado to their service department for them to check on engine and transmission under warranty, they replaced transmission parts, engine belt and water pump to now said is the muffler comp them to check on engine and transmission under warranty, they replaced transmission parts, engine belt and water pump to now said is the muffler components!! My car is a 2026 Chevy Equinox; bought it brand new. My car has been in shop 6 times since buying it in July, 2026 for the same issues. The last time was 2 weeks ago on 11/21/26. This past Friday, 5 war My car has been in shop 6 times since buying it in July, 2026 for the same issues. The last time was 2 weeks ago on 11/21/26. This past Friday, 5 warning lights came on and transmission won't shift above 40 mph. I called Mac Haik service 3 times to speak with someone and no one returned my calls!!! The car is not drivable and I live an hour away so the car needs to be towed. They don't want to deal with me anymore which is why I think they won't return my calls. They want to sell cars but don't care about you after it leaves the lot! My car only has 1400 miles and is truly a lemon but Mac Haik doesn't care!!! The last time in the shop they had the car almost 4 weeks but never called me with updates. The only repair was replacing front camera which, obviously, didn't work. I have had to file lemon law complaints with BBB Autoline and the Texas Motor Vehicle Administration because of Mac Haik. I just want them to buy back my car and give me back all of the money I put into it!! I will never buy another Chevrolet because of Mac Haik. I even tried call the General Manager and he won't return my call either. More
