Hood Chevrolet sold me a lemon, a 2023 Chevy Equinox that was certified used. The car stopped on me the first night I bought it on the highway, They said it was an update that had not occurred and fixed it was certified used. Next after a few months the car stopped on me again, on a bridge! It was an expensive fix that was covered by the certified used warranty which would have run out in November. In October, the car stopped again and I realized that this dud was about to become very expensive. I already had to spend a $1,000 on brake rotors which they explained was not covered as part of my certified used warranty. I turned the car in and got a Nissan Rogue from the dealership. I have to pay more money for a longer time period because I couldn't afford to wait but I needed a car. More

I was a bit disappointed with my recent purchase because of an additional “protection package” I was told that GM was doing because of paint chipping. I wasn’t asked if I wanted it they included in the price of the vehicle. I was under the impression that this was added to the truck. Very dissatisfied with that because the rest of my purchase was a great experience. I will contact GM to find out more details about this package and why there was not a chance to opt out. More
