Everyone is very welcoming, and they work really hard to get you what you want. My only negative comment would be that it took over 4 hours from the moment I walked in to when I could leave with my new car. get you what you want. Unfortunately, wi My auto buying experience was handled quickly and efficiently by Neil. My wife and I picked out the RAV4 that we were looking for. Unfortunately, with the Coronavirus situation, and the length of time that it took for me to receive the check from my insurance carrier for the salvage value on my previous 2018 RAV4, which was totaled in an accident. Neil had offered that I could take ownership of the vehicle before the check was received as he had an indication that the dealership would have to shut down for awhile. He called last Thursday and asked if I wanted to take ownership of the vehicle at this time. I said yes, and we agreed on yesterday. Neil talked with NJM Insurance to get that all set up. He met me yesterday by the vehicle entry way to the garage, and had a table set up with two chairs six feet apart. The Finance manager (I didn't catch his name) came out, and handled the signing all the paperwork. Then, I was on the way with my new RAV4. The .overall buying experience was handled very efficiently by Neil. The efficiency of the Glen Toyota staff is one of the reasons why I have bought 5 Toyota vehicles there since 1992... More

When I first went to Glen Toyota to purchased my car, I had serious reservations but against my better judgement I stayed. I arrived for my 9am appointment and Richard was no where to be found but I was as had serious reservations but against my better judgement I stayed. I arrived for my 9am appointment and Richard was no where to be found but I was asked to sit at his desk and wait. While waiting, I hear arguing in the back. Manager, Genaro and Richard come out, clearly distraught. Richard down plays it and says he was yelled at because he was late. I was prepared to purchase the car, so I stay. During the transaction, another manager John asks to speak to Richard privately. Richard comes back with papers, which were photographs of his desk, showing customers’ personal information left out in the open. Again, another red flag. But we’re already in the buying process so I stay. One positive is that the buying process was actually quick and John offered to look at the car I was previously leasing to help me understand the lease return process. A little awkward experience but overall, not terrible. The month following has been a disaster. Richard offered to return my previous lease for me the same day but failed to do that. When I continued to ask him about where my car was, he was evasive. I called the dealership several times with no return phone call for two days. I called Nissan and was told my car was not returned nor was there a pending inspection appointment for my car. At this point I’m worried because I don’t know where my previous lease was and the payment had still not been made, which was part of the deal. When I finally spoke to a Genaro, he was rude and dismissive. I came to find my car was sitting in their lot, unoccupied for 19 days. Finally they followed through and got my car inspected and provided proof of the payment. When I was told to pick up my plates I was told that I owed $70 because the original costs were “estimated”. When I asked why I wasn’t told about any possible charges Genaro told me it is not the responsibly of car sales man to provide that detail because I signed the paperwork. Shocked with his response, I questioned if this was a common practice for their dealership. He then told me to return the following day to speak to the general manager because there was nothing he was willing to do to help. Again he was extremely rude. Before I left the parking lot, Richard did come outside and gave me my plates in hopes that I wouldn’t leave a truthful comment about my experience. Honestly, in my experience buying a car is never great but this was hands down the worst experience. If I could return my Toyota today and go to one of their competitors, I would without hesitation. I can’t speak to everyone who works there but I would certainly stay clear of Richard and Genaro if you had to go to this Toyota Dealership. More

He knew exactly what I wante Sales Contact, we discussed what I was looking so when I arrived for my appointment, the perfect car was waiting for me. Where shall we start? Initial impressions were good but did not receive a copy of the window sticker of the truck I was interested in. So the following Monday I called and requested the document. I then fo did not receive a copy of the window sticker of the truck I was interested in. So the following Monday I called and requested the document. I then found out the truck had more than I wanted so I backed away from that vehicle. Now they knew what I wanted and they advised a truck was on its way in. Sounds good except when they priced out the 2nd vehicle, they removed a very important charge which was included in the 1st. I also spoke to John the sales manager several times about the pricing, since I went to Glen Toyota because they were the closest COSTCO dealership. Only when we directed to the "finance" office, where they talk you into add-ons, did I find out that my truck price did not include GAP insurance. I have leased at least 10 vehicles prior to this Toyota and not 1 has not included GAP insurance. After extensive conversation John cut the GAP cost in half but I was still not happy. Last but not least, the next business day, which was Monday, I receive a call from the sales person informing me they forgot to put the inspection sticker on the truck. They asked me when I could bring the truck back, which is a 30-45 minute drive. I asked when they can be in my neighborhood to put the sticker in my truck. It went over their heads. This dealership needs help. More
