Customer review of Downtown Chicago Volkswagen My vehicle was a little over the deadline for an oil change due to Covid restrictions and fears about bringing in the car. An appointment was made a relatively short period with an 8 am appointment. All Salespersons and employees were wearing masks. and the work on the car began immediately. Herberto kept me informed and addressed me politely (calling me Ms. Evelyn). When I checked the cost of an Uber ride to my home $48.33, I gasped out and the Rep suggested I just wait to see the disposition of the car inspection. During my wait in the reception area, it was clean and quiet. Upon having to use the restroom it was also very clean ( as if I was the 1st lady to use it that Saturday morning). Herberto secured me a loaner car although the conversations I overheard seemed to make me feel there might not be enough cars or some problem. I was very relieved as Herberto was very patient as I located all needed papers for the loaner car. The service of my vehicle was completed two days earlier than the original estimated time which of course was fine. I would gladly recommend this dealership location as I came waay out of my area for this type of service. More

Brought my 2019 tiguan to get the mirror looked at and fixed. After the buyimg the part from you guys and the part returned from paint I was informed it was the wrong side mirror. I was then informed I wo fixed. After the buyimg the part from you guys and the part returned from paint I was informed it was the wrong side mirror. I was then informed I would have to pay to get the correct mirror ordered. This is completely unacceptable. Herberto and I looked at the mirror before I ordered the part and I left the car with you guys for a few days. During that time you could have easily realized this buy looking at the service order and sending out to paint. This has now been a almost two week back and forth to the service dept and a waste of my time. I asked to speak with a manager and did not get a chance to speak with anyone. More

They take care of me immediately, offer me a loaner; stay in touch via text, and fix my car promptly. And wash it as well. I have observed the same treatment of every customer, so I don’t think I’m special 🙁. I am determined to keep my car as long as I can; but when I need a new one, I will buy another VW so this dealership can service it. More

That wasn't easy in my case - I was upside down on the loan for my trade in, purchasi This dealership wanted to "make it right" per Michael Zafirious. That wasn't easy in my case - I was upside down on the loan for my trade in, purchasing a 2009 model that was hard to finance and showed up on a busy holiday weekend. It took several visits to figure out the financing and, in the meantime, we realized the car had a broken driver side mirror and needed some TLC detailing. The service team was easy to work with and my sales team covered the services so now I am a very happy owner. I expect to continue working with downtown VW for service going forward. More
