Avoid Town East Ford — Deceptive Practices and a Frustrating Experience I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Town East Ford. While Jermaine and one manager (whose name I didn’t catch) Frustrating Experience I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Town East Ford. While Jermaine and one manager (whose name I didn’t catch) were professional and helpful, the rest of the team left a lot to be desired. From the beginning, I simply asked for a price breakdown on a truck, excluding taxes since I planned to tag it with a tribe in Oklahoma. This seemingly simple request turned into an ordeal. Zane, Dustin, and Karen acted like this was brain surgery — it took 13 text messages and two emails just to get the basic information I asked for. Once I finally received the quote, the numbers didn’t add up. I asked where the extra charges were coming from and was told I didn’t qualify for certain rebates due to being out of state. However, their own website clearly states that if a customer doesn’t qualify for a rebate due to location, the same discount would be applied as a dealer discount. When I pointed this out with screenshots, I was told they wouldn’t honor that policy because “they had already discounted the truck.” Zane made me an offer, which I initially declined, but later accepted the next day. At that point, he raised the price by $185. I reluctantly agreed again and asked to put down a deposit to hold the truck — no reply. The next morning, we confirmed a pickup time. I drove over 3.5 hours, only to be told an hour before arrival that the truck had been sold to a local customer because it “made more sense” for the dealership. Zane offered a similar truck with a lower MSRP for the same higher price — a classic bait-and-switch. Despite all these red flags, we still went to the dealership. We did end up purchasing a truck, but even during financing, there were issues. A rebate we were going to apply for ourselves was pre-added in a way that actually increased the price. The taxes were printed on a separate sheet, and after “negotiating,” a new sheet showed lower taxes — creating the illusion of a price drop without actually reducing the vehicle price. Blake seemed friendly, but it’s hard to believe so many “honest mistakes” were truly accidents. Bottom line: be extremely cautious when dealing with this dealership. Their tactics are misleading, communication is poor, and the overall experience was a mess. I would not recommend Town East Ford to anyone looking for a straightforward and honest car-buying process. Guys over here were amazing and professional. They helped us out every step of the way and I was able to get into my dream Bronco. 5/5 would use them again for my car purchases. Horrible! Verbal discussions not honored at time to purchase. Within 3 hours of being told they would not honor their verbal statements, they told me both of t Verbal discussions not honored at time to purchase. Within 3 hours of being told they would not honor their verbal statements, they told me both of they vehicles I was interested in were sold. I had called in to see what the $3,700 in dealer add ons were. 3 hours later they said they still have the vehicle and let's make a deal. I said I was at another dealer purchasing right now and they took $2,500 off and wanted me to drive 40 minutes back to their dealership. I simply did not trust them after several cases of mis-representing or not even knowing what inventory they had etc. More

I contacted Town East Ford about a Ford Maverick Truck, VIN 3FTTW8H3XRRB19762, with a website advertised price as follows: MSRP $30,225; Dealer Discount -$4,716; Town East Price $25,509. After speaking wit VIN 3FTTW8H3XRRB19762, with a website advertised price as follows: MSRP $30,225; Dealer Discount -$4,716; Town East Price $25,509. After speaking with the sales representative, Diana M, I received a quote for $36,5225.08 which included $3695.00 of dealer added accessories. When I asked to speak with a manager regarding the internet advertised price it became very difficult to receive a call back. After several attempts I was finally able to speak with Dustin S who informed me Town East Ford dealer online advertising doesn't include dealer added options in the pricing, nor could he even honor the initially advertised Dealer Discount -$4,716. I live approximately 300 miles away and was ready to purchase the vehicle at the advertised price. I found my interaction with the Town East Ford representatives deceptive, especially since they have now increased the online price to 28,902 and still do not show the dealer add-ons. More
