I recently (29Dec23) got my Toyota Serviced.
Basic oil change and tire rotation, that's it. Upon completion of services/when I recieved my truck back, I discovered it had a "Refuel" message dis
Basic oil change and tire rotation, that's it. Upon completion of services/when I recieved my truck back, I discovered it had a "Refuel" message displayed. Concerned, I inquired about what/why that's all of a sudden appearing. The tech does not nor could not explain it, and I was told to go ahead and take it and return if it doesn't go away, I had 3/4 of a tank of gas, so there's no way I needed fuel. I left and proceeded to the store. Once I was done in the store I walked out and noticed I had a moderately sized oil leak underneath my truck. I looked underneath my truck and saw oil residue and drips coming from my skid plate. I took it back immediately and was they looked at it. After about 15 to 20 minutes, they told me it was left over oil from the change that they didn't get from the top of my skid plate, so that was the problem. Bottom line, I brought in a perfectly good vehicle to be routinely serviced, and now I have issues and even more concerns that the oil and refuel light aren't going to be the only problems I'm going to encounter. Please beware of the service, as I'm beyond upset.
