I think this is a misconception to the cust I feel one reason is labor is always charged as an hour no matter how long any repair or service takes. I think this is a misconception to the customer. If a service of an item takes 0.50 hour than the labor should be charged for 0.50 hour. Thats why most people avoid taking their vehicles back to the dealership, because they feel they are getting ripped off, even though they may be the most qualified and trained.
