Bill has been in the automotive business and with Koons for over 33 years, starting when he was just 18 years old. He became a Service Advisor in 1978. Bill is happily married to his wife Jenny and he has three children: Becky, Rob, and David. His family also has two dogs, two cats, and three parrots. Bill enjoys playing golf and fishing. He also is a supporter of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Excellent Experience Dropped my 2013 Z06 off for service/repair at 7:30 a.m. July 11, after making on line appointment the night before. Paperwork was done and car headed Dropped my 2013 Z06 off for service/repair at 7:30 a.m. July 11, after making on line appointment the night before. Paperwork was done and car headed for the service bay within 5 minutes. Had a diagnosis on line less than an hour later, and the car was done and ready for pickup by day's end. Service manager Bill Appel is a real star. More

Though I have had no problems with the car, I have had to take it in for a couple of routine service checks and oil changes. And the folks in the Koons' Service Department, especially their Corvette expert, Bill Appel, are excellent. Good work, done on time and with a high degree of professionalism. I wouldn't have my car serviced anywhere else. More

Software issues My 2014 Corvette was experiencing a few electronic glitches. I made an appointment for 1000 and arrived a bit early....Bill Appel had car logged in an My 2014 Corvette was experiencing a few electronic glitches. I made an appointment for 1000 and arrived a bit early....Bill Appel had car logged in and in the shop ASAP. It took a bit of time, but a complete update of the onboard software was completed. So far the issues seem to be fixed. Bill Appel and Walter Heuer, Koon's Corvette technician, make a great team and have kept this customer a happy one. Thxs More

Bad experience I am not going to that dealer anymore. The first time I went there to buy a car, everybody was wonderful but when I had a problem in my car after 2 m I am not going to that dealer anymore. The first time I went there to buy a car, everybody was wonderful but when I had a problem in my car after 2 months of purchase, especially when the check engine lights up for my Chevy suburban 2014. Can u believe that?!! I went back to them because they should a solution for me, Bill (sales manager) and Earl( sales person) were rude and try to be sneaky without any help. Bad service never I had before. More
