Bill has been in the automotive business and with Koons for over 33 years, starting when he was just 18 years old. He became a Service Advisor in 1978. Bill is happily married to his wife Jenny and he has three children: Becky, Rob, and David. His family also has two dogs, two cats, and three parrots. Bill enjoys playing golf and fishing. He also is a supporter of the Philadelphia Eagles.

I have always dealt with the same service adviser - Bill Appel. He sets up my appointments promptly and gets the work done so that I get my car quickly. I am called as soon as he knows what is going on with Appel. He sets up my appointments promptly and gets the work done so that I get my car quickly. I feel very comfortable having my car serviced by someone I trust. More

I am delighted to underscore my highest praise and appreciation for the entire Koons organization. My family has bought many cars at this dealership. I got a flat tire while on the highway and knew about Koons Chevorlet. I stopped in to see if they could do a quick tire change. I spoke with Sylvia Westerlund first. She connected me with Bill Appel. He Koons Chevorlet. I stopped in to see if they could do a quick tire change. I spoke with Sylvia Westerlund first. She connected me with Bill Appel. He got my car in right away. The tire change took a little longer than I thought, but part of that was due to the kind of tire my car needed. I found the employees to be very helpful and professional. It was an overall great experience! More

Bill Apel has been one of the reasons myself and a lot of other customers bring their vehicles to this dealership for service. He listens and hears my concerns, that's very important to me. Everyone is friendly, courteous and respectful although I don't know everyones names. I'm confident my car concerns/repairs are taken care of in a timely manner, the right way, the first time, and I've been bringing my 98 Camaro SS here for years. I have never had a better experience, with regard to the service on my 2004 Tahoe, than the experience I have contnuously had with Koons of Tysons. This is due mostly to the dedication of Bill Apell in ensu service on my 2004 Tahoe, than the experience I have contnuously had with Koons of Tysons.
