Jose fielded all of my questions with patience and grace, demonstrating his knowledge and care. While Cabe did not have the Camry I wanted in stock, I actually considered getting a different one so I could deal with them— they were that good. I had an excellent run through the entire process from first introduction to Michael C to signing on the dotted line to complete the purchase of my Corolla hybrid. I like to think I have a pretty laid-back approach to life so Michael certainly had to encompass a chunk of my sometimes wacky sense of humor when dealing with me (and particularly my dodgy eyesight without my reading glasses). He walked me through the paperwork excellently so there were no surprises or guess work needed from start to finish. A good amount of patience too particularly with my bank when it became apparent that there was a transaction limit I wasn't aware of that was lower than the deposit I wanted to put down. Bottom line is don't hesitate in visiting this dealership if you're after a new car.

I recently purchased a used Toyota Highlander and, knowing it’s an older model, I’ve been diligent about getting it serviced and cared for properly. Unfortunately, my recent experience at Toyota Torrance left me deeply disappointed and concerned for my safety. I brought my vehicle in because I noticed an oil leak, despite having just gotten an oil change, a new oil filter, and ensuring the car was safe to drive at a Toyota dealership in North Carolina less than a month prior. I scheduled an appointment and was assisted by the assistant manager NESTOR LOPEZ. From the start, the interaction was unpleasant—he was dismissive, unhelpful, and made me feel as though my concerns didn’t matter. Despite my appointment, I ended up waiting over four hours. When I returned, I was told that they “couldn’t find where the oil leak was coming from,” that my car was “a mess underneath,” and all they could do is clean the bottom and add a $15 dye test. For this, I was charged $235. I asked about my safety driving the car with an active oil leak, and NESTOR LOPEZ simply told me to “drive it 500–1000 miles and come back to recheck”. He brushed off my questions and showed no concern for my safety or the fact that I had just paid Toyota North Carolina a significant amount for related work only weeks earlier. His attitude was rude, and his comments about “that’s North Carolina, this is California” were unprofessional and dismissive. The worst part is this: the work they claimed to have done was never done. When I got home, I checked under the hood, and nothing had been cleaned as they said. A trusted family friend, a mechanic, inspected it and immediately found the real problem: two pipes soaked in oil from a transmission leak. He also discovered that my transmission fluid was completely empty—a serious safety hazard that Toyota Service never even checked. This means I was charged hundreds of dollars for nothing, left with a dangerous and unresolved problem, and treated with complete disregard by the assistant manager, NESTOR LOPEZ, overseeing my service. Had I not had someone else check my car, I could have easily destroyed my transmission or been stranded on the road. I trusted Toyota because I believed going directly to the dealership would mean quality care and genuine concern for my safety. Instead, I left feeling dismissed, overcharged, and extremely unsafe. It is unacceptable that an assistant manager would provide such poor service, fail to ensure even the most basic checks (like transmission fluid), and treat a customer with such disregard.

I had a routine service on 9/30/25 and Tom Anderson told me that I have 2 recalls which need 2 days to fix them and just schedule it as the parts are available. I schedule the recall service on 9/30/25 and dropped off.my car. The technician told me only one recall can be done today because inly one part is available. But then Tom Anderson called and said the parts are not ready and I need to pick up my car. It was waste of my time and it was unefficient and unprofessional from Toyota service department.

Everyone there was really friendly and helpful—they didn’t pressure me at all and made sure I felt good about everything. The whole experience is comforting, it puts you at ease feeling that you are treated with dignity and honesty. I have dealt with Toyota Place for years , i am 88 years old and I live in Corona and yet i drive the distance because i know that i will get what I want . I tip my hat to you Toyota Place. I went in for an oil change service with an appointment and was told it would take an hour and a half with a car wash. I was okay with waiting but it wasn't done until three hours later. There was no communication except for me asking the cashier if my truck was ready. I was finally informed by the service guy it was ready. I paid and I gave my ticket to the porter to bring my truck around it took another twenty plus minutes and was not washed. I called and complained to the service manager about my experience and all that was offered was for me to bring my truck down to get washed. I guess if you pay extra for a service contract they don't care because they already have your money.
