The grounds and facilities are pretty clean aside from the bathroom… I had already done three weeks of research on my next vehicle, and I on my last test drive tour. GMC and Chevy were my final 2. I was looking to purchase a vehicle when I arrived, I walked around the showroom, then outside to view your lot, then the showroom again and I almost left because no one greeted me inside, and no one came outside to see if I needed any help. I was walking back to my car to go visit another lot then Del Hogan intercepted me and asked if needed anything. He was already busy helping another person and there were 2 available salespersons sitting in the showroom who said nothing. So when he stopped me I immediately said he would get my business. I was between the Yukon/Tahoe or Silverado/Sierra. Thanks to people like Del, you got the sale, he was busy, but not busy enough to greet and assist, I came back to purchase because of Del, the customer experience is the most important part about purchasing your vehicle. I left 2 other dealerships who ignored me inside and outside of there facilities even though they both had vehicles I WANTED to purchase. You should give Del a raise and a bonus for his customer service and support, he was great, straight forward and humble. Big thanks to Michelle Cafeo as well, she was great sharing and explaining the options available during the financial and add-on services portion of the buying process. I appreciate you two!!!

I was very disappointed, I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation. I arrived at my appointment 10 minutes early as I was walked to the waiting room I was told it may take an hour and a half to two hours, when I said that was ridiculous when I had an appointment and was told…they overbook! Two and a half hours later my car was ready! I can have this done anywhere and it’s completed in 30 minutes or less! On top of that after I got home I received an email telling me about two things they suggest I have done….no one could come to the waiting room to ask me if I wanted those jobs completed? Also when I checked out they told me everything looked good, they did not advise on any other services that should be completed.

Visited multiple Greater Detroit Buick/GMC dealerships over the course of a week (purely because our local dealer provided the single worst trade-in value by several thousand dollars!), seeking to simply “drop” an easy-peasy GM employee discount-qualified order for a nearly $70,000 MSRP 2026 GMC Acadia Denali Ultimate on one of them. Since we were bringing a trade vehicle to the table, it was only natural that our eventual choice would clearly emerge after reviewing their respective best and final OTD net offers. While Suburban Buick GMC of Troy's was neither the first nor the best such offer upon initial blush, ultimately -- and EXCLUSIVELY due to the hard work and patience of Matthew Daschke, Suburban's Pre-Owned Vehicles Manager and DART Operations Analyst -- were we eventually able to struggle past various mathematical and attitudinal "pot holes" placed in our path due to the actions and inactions of various other stakeholders at his dealership to construct a mutually satisfactory arrangement under which we could feel supreme and enduring confidence that we'd made the correct choice for our overarching ownership experience. When all is said and done, I've dealt with scores of new car sales reps, their managers, their senior managers and even a few group principals throughout past vehicle purchase endeavors (predominantly as was the case here comprised of "highest of the high" trim and model choices of various luxury lines), and I can say without any doubt or reservation whatsoever that Matt is one of the most professional, forthright and engaging automotive sales professionals with whom I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and consummating purchase agreements in my nearly 50 years of acquiring vehicles. What's more, and having successfully built multiple high tech companies and retired particularly early largely due to their success (which I largely attribute to the people I hired, mentored and surrounded myself), I have a keen sense that Matt will not only go far, but that the skills, desire, integrity and customer commitment he brings to the table not only far exceed that which his youthful years (and certainly those other stakeholders) might otherwise suggest, but that Suburban would do well to eventually elevate him up through its Suburban and/or Lithia ranks where it might enjoy greater and more impactful human synergy from his continued growth and contribution. Keep up the good work, Matt. Meanwhile, we're excited by the prospect of now settling in and enjoying a long, fruitful and enjoyable ownership experience with Suburban while recommending you and the dealership to others we might come to know are in the market for a GMC or Buick vehicle!

Stay Away - they advertise GM employee prices in a bait and switch scheme to get traffic. If they're willing to mistreat you before you are a customer by advertising false prices that they have no intention of honoring unless you work for GM, it would be logical that they will mistreat customers throughout the rest of the deal. I choose to do business with people who are more straighforward.

I felt like I wasn't taken seriously. Let me break it down for you: I found the add on cars.com and was hoping to make a purchase. We get there and we ask for a man named Rob, who we spoke with on the phone. He said he would be there and we gave him a ball park of what would could realistically afford after my previous car was just totaled. We tell him the offer and he said it was very reasonable and to come on out today and ask for him. He wasn't there. We then met David Lee, who we explained the situation to, he brought the car up and let us take it for a spin. He seemed all right. We then get back and we are then shuffled off to Lee. He didn't introduce himself, he dismissed all my suggestions for possibly improving the car before we take it home (fixing the cupholder in the back that was broken, his reply was yeah we'll see [you're a GM dealership you should be able to fix a GM] brand, and steam cleaning the stains out of the seats). He dismissed our concerns about the tires, which looked less than 25% life in the back and roughly 50% in the front, if putting new ones on it was an option, he shrugged it off. We then get down and give him an offer and he said that they won't go any lower than what their asking. We offered within a few hundred dollars of the asking price and were going to pay cash. We said we couldn't afford that. He didn't offer to meet us part way, he didn't offer to show us any other vehicles he could come down on. When I bought my car (may she rest in peace) I was greeted by a handful of people who couldn't wait to get my business. Not here. It was a pretty awful experience. I'm in my mid 20s, I might be a young guy, but last I checked, you're a salesman, it's your job to SELL cars. People need cars. We test drove two of similar value and he didn't even offer a solution with that. It's not my job as a consumer to ask. It's the sellers job to try and get a car in my hand with what we have to offer. I might go back because they do have a lot of nice stock, but I won't deal with any of the salesman mentioned above, just management because they clearly don't know anything about making a customer happy.
