BobbieAnn approached me in the Service waiting area in a very friendly, professional manner. She asked what I was in for.
I told her the issue, and relayed to her that the last time I was in Phillips CDJR it took 3 hours to have my oil changed. I wasn’t looking forward to the wait…..
The tech had told me an hour, 90 minutes tops. He was true to his word. I can’t remember his name, but I’d like to.recognize him as doing a good job.
My check-in took a little while, even though there was no one in line, but he was straight
forward.
The service techs did a good job listening to the Customer, and we got the needed service completed.
I had done my Homework and found out there was a TSB related to the symptoms I was experiencing in my transaxle.
At first they tried to charge me $199 to run the diagnostic, then return the $$ when it was diagnosed. I did not accept this solution as I had previously spent 6 years at Chrysler building this 8 Speed Transaxle at the OEM plant(s) in Indiana. I have extensive knowledge of the failure modes, and the simple fix of reflashing the TCM. I would hope that anyone else experiencing this issue would not have been required to pay for it. Period.
