Emilio was *mostly* great with information about the electric cars available, explaining all the options in great detail, except some of his knowledge about the charging equipment was incorrect. [We had been to three other dealerships where the salespeople could not answer basic questions about the electric cars we were interested in.]
*However, when we got home, after purchasing the car, we realized that a very important detail was overlooked: charging the car. Emilio had misunderstood the equipment that was included in the sale. He thought what was included would allow us to charge at home, but it was something different. Therefore, we got home on a Friday night, thinking we could charge the car, only to find (after lots of Kia tutorial videos and Chat GPT) that we had to research chargers ourselves and purchase the necessary gear for on Amazon ($200+). This was incredibly frustrating after the sale that, otherwise, he seemed very knowledgeable about. Emilio responded the next day (Saturday morning) to our inquiries over the weekend as we tried to figure out how to solve this problem, but the dealership was not willing to just deliver us what we needed. We had not known that this was not part of the deal we were making as we purchased the car.
Otherwise, Emilio was a lovely person to work with, answered questions directly and honestly, without making us feel like we were being "negotiated with" (as other dealerships sometimes feel) throughout the process.
If you are looking for a SMALL electric vehicle, we learned that you have to do your own homework because every dealership only has good information and experience on their BIG cars. Between all of the dealerships we shopped at, Emilio was the most knowledgeable person who we dealt with.
