I found this vehicle online and figured it was worth - Jeff
I found this vehicle online and figured it was worth looking at in person for the price that was advertised. I spoke with Brandon a couple time before taking a day off from work to check it out (3 hours away). The vehicle was up front and ready to go when my wife and I got there. Brandon was an excellent person to work with and I was a bit unprepared for the “low pressure” salesmanship of the dealership. Their pricing, quality, and selection do the sales part I guess.
After the test drive we decided to purchase the vehicle. We were in the process of moving personal effects into the vehicle when the engine light came on. I don’t remember the name of the technician that scanned the code, but he let me see the scan, which effectively said the high-pressure fuel pump was at issue. Brandon said to go for lunch, and they would try to sort out the problem. I was somewhat expecting the code to be flashed and cleared and to be sent on our way. I decided that unless they said the fuel pump needs to be replaced and it will take them some time, I was not going to go any farther with the purchase. Turns out that is exactly what Brandon said. I went back two weeks later and finished the purchase and drove the vehicle home. I have only put on about 400 miles so far, but I am pleased with the vehicle.
Used cars have issues, but when I find a salesman and dealership that earn my trust, I will stick with them. Integrity and character do the right thing and treat people right when something goes wrong. Brandon and his team did just that in my opinion.
