My 2021 M440i had a chipped exhaust valve. - mpdough

My 2021 M440i had a chipped exhaust valve. BMW recommends replacing the engine in such cases as the piece of chipped value could further damage the engine. The price that I was quoted for a new engine was $36,000. When I said that I can not afford that much, the team at BMW began to look for other options. They decided to tear the engine apart at reduced labor rates to see if my current engine could be salvaged. In the end they replaced the chipped value and performed a thorough inspection to determine the chip was no longer inside the engine. In the end they were able to repair my car to it like new condition for $6,500. $6,500 is a lot but it is much less than $36,000. I will always return to Park Avenue BMW for my auto needs, be it service or sales.

I have been a customer of this dealership for 11 years, and I have so much appreciation for the employees at this location! Within the last two weeks, I’ve had two services done, and Gina, my advisor, made sure they were done in a timely manner, and she really took the time to explain the costs and the best course of action. Additionally, she took the time to call me to ensure that I was aware of what the service entailed, and I received a video highlighting the specific areas that needed attention. Although she is my primary advisor, all of the advisors at this location are extremely professional and informative. The service department gets busy, but they have a great staff that works collaboratively to prioritize customer’s needs and interests. Bobby, one of the customer service managers, always asks about your experience and if there is anything he can do to assist. The valet staff are always nice and usually the first people to greet you when you arrive. The receptionists are always willing to assist with scheduling complimentary transportation, so you can get back to work or wherever you need to go. Lastly, Najat, she specializes in trades, or if you’re trying to get out of your current vehicle and into a new one, she will call you to inform you about best options, and she will send you an email as well to follow up. The waiting area and bathrooms are always clean, and complimentary snacks and drinks ( water, chips…) are available while you’re waiting. People have their own experiences or opinions about what makes great customer service, but the staff at BMW Bloomfield always strive for excellence and best outcomes for their customers.

I purchased a x4 from Paul Miller bmw last march used 3 years old. Within a month it required $5,000 in brake services, one tire has never held air and the $5,000 warranty they sold me is worthless according to bmw customer service. I was duped into believing it was a bmw warranty and not a Paul Miller bmw warranty (I live 5 hours away). When I purchased the vehicle I was told that I had approximately 30,000 miles before brake services would be required. Classless dealership. Classless salespeople.

Where to start. Came in for specific issues, there report came back as everything is ok, problems can’t be replicated when technician test drove car. Well ended up taking it to 2 other local BMW within 2 month span and sure enough, there was repairs that we’re definitely overlooked and missed at Newton. Think twice before bringing to this BMW dealer!!!!!

I bought my car there, but would not buy another one. The service department has, shall we say, a credibility problem. On 3 different occasions I called to obtain quotes for service work and parts. Each time they quoted me one price, but then tried to charge me a higher price once the work was completed -- even when I had the original quotation from them in writing. Then, they gave me attitude when I actually expected them to honor the prices that they had quoted to me in the first place. BMWs are great cars, but I would never again buy one that was not within BMW's full-maintenance included, bumper-to-bumper warranty period unless I knew a very good non-BMW german car mechanic.
