My 2021 M440i had a chipped exhaust valve. BMW recommends replacing the engine in such cases as the piece of chipped value could further damage the engine. The price that I was quoted for a new engine was $36,000. When I said that I can not afford that much, the team at BMW began to look for other options. They decided to tear the engine apart at reduced labor rates to see if my current engine could be salvaged. In the end they replaced the chipped value and performed a thorough inspection to determine the chip was no longer inside the engine. In the end they were able to repair my car to it like new condition for $6,500. $6,500 is a lot but it is much less than $36,000. I will always return to Park Avenue BMW for my auto needs, be it service or sales.

I especially appreciated receiving a personalized video update showing my own vehicle and detailing the work being done—an excellent touch that really builds confidence and transparency. The service advisor was outstanding: thorough, clear, and respectful. He took the time to answer all my questions, clearly outlined my options, and never pressured me into services I didn’t need. He even went out of his way to return a call on his day off—something you rarely see these days. I was given a ride home after dropping off my car, and they arranged a pickup the next day. My car was ready on time, freshly washed, and the experience from start to finish felt smooth and thoughtful. Even the waiting room is impressive, with a large window where you can view the entire service floor. And the follow-up? I had a fantastic experience with this dealership, specifically with Toran. He was professional and knowledgeable. He followed up with me in a timely manner with some open items that needed to be addressed.

tl; dr: If you have the misfortune of getting Jamal Butt/Jamal sutton (not sure his last name) as your sales rep, run as far as you can and then run some more. Horrible service. Got horrible service by a short, fat, little balding man with a greying goatee named Jamal Butt. Worst customer service on the planet. Disrespectful to a buyer clearly interested in the sale, and ultimately lost the sale. Horrible, don't know why a company so supposedly renowned as BMW would hire a horrible customer sales rep with absolutely no knowledge of anything remotely related to the car I was driving. Asked him what the safety was like for the car, this "sales rep" could not give a straight answer. Then started asking very rude, invasive, and disrespectful questions about my family finances and straight up whether "we could afford a BMW" and whether "our family had a BMW." Asked him about the features the car had, and he could not for the life of him provide a specific answer; absolutely not knowledgeable about anything about the 7 series at all. What kind of operation hires such a clueless sales rep as Jamal Butt? Remember, he's a short, little, fat bald man with a greying goatee--steer clear and beware of him if you have the misfortune of getting Jamal Butt as your sales rep. Horrible, unknowledgeable, person with absolutely no idea of anything related to BMW and not even the slightest idea of how to conduct proper, good customer service. Should've gone with Michael Simone instead.

So I go the change the cabin filters in my "CERTIFIED" Pre-Owned (myself) that I purchased at Paul Miller BMW only to find out that their filters were installed in the WRONG DIRECTION!!!! Where to start. Came in for specific issues, there report came back as everything is ok, problems can’t be replicated when technician test drove car. Well ended up taking it to 2 other local BMW within 2 month span and sure enough, there was repairs that we’re definitely overlooked and missed at Newton. Think twice before bringing to this BMW dealer!!!!!

I bought my car there, but would not buy another one. The service department has, shall we say, a credibility problem. On 3 different occasions I called to obtain quotes for service work and parts. Each time they quoted me one price, but then tried to charge me a higher price once the work was completed -- even when I had the original quotation from them in writing. Then, they gave me attitude when I actually expected them to honor the prices that they had quoted to me in the first place. BMWs are great cars, but I would never again buy one that was not within BMW's full-maintenance included, bumper-to-bumper warranty period unless I knew a very good non-BMW german car mechanic.
