I put off buying a new car for years knowing how painful the process can be. Through friends, it was suggested I work with Bill Ciszon at Castle Chevrolet McHenry as I have been looking at the new models and knew what I wanted.
All I can say it the whole process was painless. My old car had no bells and whistles so a new one would take a minute to learn all I can do. I no longer have to manually turn on my headlights! Yes, it’s a very excitable feature. Ha!
I went in 1 day, test drove what I liked (Trailblazer) and Bill searched high and low for the trim style I liked above the rest, and once received helped walk me thru the new features, ways I can adjust, and even sat there with me thru the terrible onStar questioner. It was just funny because they said all the things he already did.
Typically the most painful process is the finance portion so I’m going to add, it was fine. They already had my basic info the day I test drove because we knew I was going to get a car; it was just the when it would arrive. By the time I walked in the office they already ran the credit check and paperwork digitally prepared so they knew what they could offer me quickly. I knew what I needed, wanted, and what I didn’t. I simply stated what I didn’t need and there was absolutely no haggling.
Sorry for the long review but I seriously put this off for years thinking I’d be in that office for years signing away my newborn baby. It was the total opposite. The day I bought the car, I MAYBE was there an hour; if that.
