I showed up last-minute, and he still made time for me like it was no big deal. He walked me through financing vs. leasing with the patience of a saint, breaking down all the pros and cons so I actually understood what I was getting into. Greg, the GM, also jumped in with some great advice. It felt like they genuinely wanted me to make the best choice for me, not just sell me a car. After a challenging start with my 2020 Chevy Equinox, I want to provide an update on my experience with Grand Kia. Initial Problems: I purchased the vehicle on January 11, 2024, and faced significant issues almost immediately. The check engine light appeared the day after purchase, and despite multiple visits to the dealership, the problem persisted. Service was often slow, communication was poor, and the issues were not effectively resolved. Resolution: After posting a negative review, I was contacted by the dealership, which led to a notable improvement in service. Jim from the service department took a proactive role in addressing and fixing the turbo issues with my vehicle. His efforts, along with support from General Manager Jose, were instrumental in resolving the ongoing problems. They both demonstrated a commitment to customer satisfaction that was previously lacking. Overall Experience: While my initial experience was frustrating, the follow-up service and dedication from Jim and Jose have been positive. Their actions have restored my confidence in Grand Kia. It’s clear they value customer feedback and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure satisfaction. Recommendation: I appreciate the efforts in turning my experience around. For potential customers, I recommend engaging directly with the service team and management to ensure clear communication and effective resolution of any issues. AMAZING! Being a first time buyer I was nervous did not know what I was doing at all however Rick Paul the salesman who sold me my car and Tony Gomez the financial manager talked me through everything gave me really good insight, were super forgiving and honestly they helped me out as if I was their own kid which made me feel so much more relaxed and confident and I felt prepared to own the car and what goes along with it. While my girlfriend and I were waiting Rick gave us his sandwich which was so awesome and much appreciated and talked me through everything. Tony was awesome he was super honest and he genuinely felt like he was looking out for us. I honestly learned so much from these two and can’t thank them enough! Thank you Rick! Thank you Tony! Came in looking to trade in a WRX for a 6 speed version, while JD wasn't the first to help me, he ended up being the absolute best. At first, I just couldn't get the deal I was looking for - but JD put in the work and ended up getting me a superb deal on exactly what I wanted. He was even able to get me more for an old beater I also wanted to get rid of. If every salesman at dealerships was like JD, I think people would have a much more positive opinion of car dealerships.
