Dishonest employees, buyer beware of shady sales practices My finance and I went in to Woodmen Nissan to look at a specific Nissan Murano with AWD as we just moved to Colorado Springs and wanted an AWD vehic My finance and I went in to Woodmen Nissan to look at a specific Nissan Murano with AWD as we just moved to Colorado Springs and wanted an AWD vehicle for the winters. We were looking to trade in a front wheel drive car. This was the first thing we told the sales red (Todd) with why we were in. We looked at the vehicle and had higher mileage and wanted to think about it. Todd said they had another one, but said it was probably out of our price range. He told us it had everything we wanted, including AWD and leather, navigation, sun roof and was the top package. While we were thinking about the first vehicle, Todd pulled the second vehicle up behind us and says to hop in and that he talked the price down and we couldn t go wrong with this vehicle and had everything we were looking for. Believing him that the vehicle was AWD, we test drove and decided to purchase. The following eveing after I got home from work, I inspected the vehicle and how it operates as Todd did not show us anything as to how the vehicle operated, and find out it does not have all wheel drive as stated by the representative. It was past their operating hours that night, so I called the following moring 36 hours from purchase. Todd said to bring it in and appologized for his mistake and said he didn t even realize it didn t as they had just got it in on a new trade, so the vehicle didn t have any kind of sticker in the window to reference. Todd said to bring it in and we will make it right. I get off work early to do so and all they would offer was to buy the vehicle back on a trade and get us in to the lower end model we looked at two days prior. He said all they could do would be to get us in to the lower end vehicle, but would cost us about 5,000 out of pocket and was something they would not give our full money back. I stated that I should not have to pay more for a lesser of a vehicle and asked why we should do business with them if they wanted to charge us more. He said that they would not give us our money back and that wasn t an option. My fiance and I were so upset that we left as they were not willing to do anything other than sell us another vehicle and make commission off that. A week later, I uncover that their website stated they will give full value back for the vehicle if less than 3 days from purchase and less than 100 miles. The dealership did not offer this as we still requested getting another vehicle that had the features that we needed. We have not had a solution from Woodman and they have no called us back in regards to the matter. This was over a $10,000 mistake and with this loss I hope many of you read this review. This dealership is not for their customers and only care about the money they bring in to their own pockets. We went to their sister company South Colorado Nissan and were able to find an all wheel drive model that fit our need, however are still out the money. We have yet to be contacted by the general manager and they have yet to respond to our Better Business complaint. More
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Please do your research on Woodmen Nissan before you buy. I wish I had! First of all, they have a “F” rating with the Better Business Bureau. Also, the reviews from recent c Woodmen Nissan before you buy. I wish I had! First of all, they have a “F” rating with the Better Business Bureau. Also, the reviews from recent customers are awful. I don’t even know where to start with the issues that I experienced after I purchased a Nissan Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Woodmen Nissan. The sales reps are rude and will tell you ANYTHING (worse than other dealers) to get you to buy a car. Their pressure tactics are unlike any I’ve ever experienced. I was told that since the car is Nissan Certified Pre-Owned, it would be a like-new car when the dealer completed the work we agreed upon (interior detailing, paint chips, windshield chip, etc). I did not get all of this work in writing – BIG mistake. Even though the car was certified, they repeatedly refused to do the work. I attempted to contact Brock Wilson, the General Sales Manager, but he did not respond to my email. At that point, I was forced to contact Nissan Regional. Brock Wilson and Todd Miller (User Car Manager) are HORRIBLE. Todd Miller actually swore at one of my friends (a fellow dealership owner) when he called to try to resolve the issues. Todd Miller told him “I don’t give a sh*t who you are or who you tell.” It was only after I contacted Nissan Regional that Brock responded to my email. He also left me a very rude voicemail telling me “I hate to break it to you, but you purchased a USED car. I’m not going to ‘rebuild’ a used car for you. This case is closed.” The only thing that “saved” me from putting my own money into this car was the fact that it was a Nissan Certified Pre-Owned vehicle and it should not have even been on the lot in the condition that it was. Todd Miller told Nissan Regional that they were trying to fix the issues with my car, but I was not showing up to appointments. That was a total lie. I was able to reach out to Mike Jackson, the GM of Woodmen Nissan, and he fixed everything for me. Of course, this was the FOURTH time I brought it in and it was over a month since I originally purchased the car. The bottom line is that no one at Woodmen Nissan cares about the treatment of their customers. They CERTAINLY don’t care about their reputation or “word of mouth”. I would never let ANYONE buy a car from this dealer. The deal that they give you is not worth the trouble you will experience after. I’ve talked to other people who have purchased cars here with bad brakes and other safety issues. I can’t believe a company like this is still in business. They were hoping I was just a dumb girl and I would just go away if they made things really difficult for me. Unfortunately, that’s not really my style. I’ll be posting warnings on every site that will allow. More

Buyer Beware! Be very careful in your dealings with Buyer Beware! Be very careful in your dealings with the used car sales people from Woodmen Nissan. They will say anything to sell a car, and then Buyer Beware! Be very careful in your dealings with the used car sales people from Woodmen Nissan. They will say anything to sell a car, and then once they have made the sale and you leave the dealership it's virtually impossible to get them to follow through on any of their promises. I bought a used truck from them and they promised to give me a “manager's discount” on a set of tires and to provide free oil changes for 1 year. After I purchased the truck and asked for the discounted price for a set of tires, they gave me a “discount” price that was over $100 more than I could purchase the same tires from a tire store, and they never bothered to send me the information and paperwork for the free oil changes. After trying repeatedly to get in touch with the sales person I finally contacted the general sales manager, Brock Wilson, who told me he would “make sure” to have the paperwork for the oil changes sent to me. Over two weeks now and still nothing. This dealership and its staff do not appear to value honesty, integrity, commitments or customer service. Unfortunately, it was only after I had these bad experiences that I checked the Better Business Bureau web site to discover that Woodmen Nissan has an “F” rating. I really wish I had checked their BBB rating earlier – I would never have set foot in their dealership, and certainly wouldn't have purchased a vehicle from them, if I had known of their extremely poor rating. While there may well be people who have a good experience at Woodmen, given the “F” rating with the BBB, is it worth the risk? There are plenty of other car dealerships in Colorado Springs – I'd recommend going to a reputable dealership with a good BBB rating. More
Horrible service: good I got my money back… bad this happened. Altima would not start. Called Woodman Nissan and service rep said, check if brake switch was loose and not extended, which would prevent car from starting. I ensured switch was seated properly and pressed brake pedal down several times trying to reset it. Petal got harder to press down each consecutive time (turns out, this is normal as brake system becomes pressurized). Towed to Woodman Nissan who said problem with starting car was bad battery, and problem with brake pedal was brake booster locking brakes; $125 to test for problems, $175 for battery and installation, and $705 to replace brake booster. Woodman Nissan said they could smell the overheating, and feel the brakes dragging as they drove. Took my car to get a new battery elsewhere. Woodman said don’t drive too far without fixing brake booster as will wear out the brakes or worse. Drove around for a week and had no dragging brakes nor overheating smells. Called for a second opinion from South Colorado Springs Nissan who said the brake booster is what provides “power brakes”; if they fail, indication is the assist goes away and you just have to press down harder on the pedal to get your normal braking; no way can a failed brake booster grab or tighten up the brakes. He suggested I use a remote thermometer and gave me suggested temperatures. My temperatures were continually in the proper range. Took car back to Woodman Nissan and ask that they test drive this problem again. At end of day, they called and assured me they did test drive the car, and brake booster had to be replaced for $705. I declined and drove around for one month. Called the service rep and told him what happened and he said only he would tell the mechanic. Didn’t phase him that his suggested work would have wasted $705. Called the Service Manager who was aggressive and impatient and wouldn’t see the issue. Said he hasn’t had a problem in nine months; “really?” I asked… “read the online reviews for Woodman?” He doesn’t, he said. Even once pointed the problem at me, and implied I was wrong because the brake booster does not lock up brakes. I asked him to read the work order which said, "Customer informed problem with brake booster causing brakes to lock up--told not to drive far, approx $705 P&L to repair". Afterwards, loudly he asked me, just what do I want. Anyway, was getting ugly, but I got my $125 for the “inspection” of the problem back. More

Aft Best New Car Purchase Experience Ever! Thank you to everyone at Woodment Nissan for your professional curtosy and outstanding customer service. After having a horrible experience just days prior at another dealership, it was very refreshing to be treated so well. Brad Campbell, New Car Sales Manager, helped us find the vehicle we wanted at another dealership and had it dilivered to their location. When the vehicle arrived, we noticed that it DID NOT have a hitch included, which was very important to us. Brad apologized and assured us that a hitch would be installed at our convenience. Can't give enough praise....GREAT JOB!! More
What a horrible experience. Fro m the first step into the dealership, and to the signing of the contract. While we were test driving the car the salesman did not know nothing about this vehicle, my 13 year o dealership, and to the signing of the contract. While we were test driving the car the salesman did not know nothing about this vehicle, my 13 year old son new more than he did. After we agreed on a price and color we did the paper work, I then found out they changed some numbers and added 6 more months to the contract without my knowing. Then when they brought the car to us, it was filthy: inside and out, in addition it already had 353 miles on it. More

The place was empty and we had made an appointment to test drive the electric Nissan Leaf. The salesman we were suppose to meet was out and we just sat there while another salesman complained about his test drive the electric Nissan Leaf. The salesman we were suppose to meet was out and we just sat there while another salesman complained about his printer. Finally he went out to get the car but after a few minutes we gave up and left. Horrible customer service. Will likely buy an electric / hybrid in the next 6 months but they sure didn't seem like they wanted our business. More
