Sent it in for warranty work. Had to order a part that would arrive “Monday at the latest”. They assured me they would call me. We went to get the car in the meantime and upon pic Had to order a part that would arrive “Monday at the latest”. They assured me they would call me. We went to get the car in the meantime and upon pickup, they had lost my keys. Nobody knew where they were. 20 minutes later they found them. Nevermind it made me late to get my daughter to her game…that’s a big deal. Monday comes and goes and no call. I give it a few more days and still no call. I call in and get the usual, “it should be here any day”. Nearly three weeks had passed, I call again and the part is in. I asked why they hadn’t called and they said, “it just got here”. LOL! No apologies. They fix the problem and we are thrilled with that! Upon pick up, nobody is there. I wander around for 15 minutes and there is not a soul at the dealership. I was thankful for the free coffee I guess. I’m thankful it is fixed and I just wish Salem had a VW dealership I could feel good about. I’m not asking for a lot, just the most basic of customer service. More
