2nd New Car experience I have been a costumer of this dealership for almost 4 years. I leased a Jetta my first time. I was very happy with the performance of this car. The dealership at the time of my first encounter with them was able to work with me and offered me a deal so I could drive my first new car. Last month, I got a phone call with an offer to get another car. I had in plans to do so but I did not like the fact that I still had a few more months on the lease. I took the car for a service and Cesar Martinez came and talked to me. Since both are Hispanic, I felt comfortable asking him some questions about the phone call I received during the day. I told him that I did not want another Jetta because now that I own a house, I wanted a bigger car to carry stuff for the house and also a safer and more comfortable vehicle to go for long trips. He recommended me the 2018 Tiguan. Model that has been much improved. I drove it and I like it. Bigger, with more power and with all the little accessories I like (safer, 4 drive, navigator, back cameras, bigger sunroof, etc). It was getting late and he told me to come back next day and see if we could talk to the manager then because he had left. While I was ready to leave after the Jetta was done for service (around 8:00 pm), Mr. Bojan approached me and started to chat with me. After Cesar and I told him of our plans for next day, he said to me. "Why come back tomorrow, we are going to get you a new car today. It is my day off but we are going to do all that we can to find your car". The car that I liked was not available at that dealer so he called all the dealers around and was able to find me the one I wanted. I could hear him on the back of his office screaming on the phone trying to get the car I wanted. To be short, we closed the deal around midnight. Cesar Martinez, Mr. Bojan and everybody involved waited until I left with my new car. I am very happy with this vehicle. It is more comfortable, safer and looks great. I think the price was fair since I got a better vehicle than the Jetta. I just came back from Aspen Colorado and I could not be more happier with the vehicle. Since then, Cesar Martinez has been in contact with me to make sure I understand how the vehicle functions, and has been patient to teach me how everything works. I also want to give a complement to Ray Puentes because he is always very nice and has great costumer service skills. Used Car Experience I was attracted to the Autobarn, by the price of a used VW. When I inquired about the car, Frank Campos returned my call promptly. When I arrived the showroom was impeccably clean, and the service waiting area was clean and cozy. I was greeted by friendly service people and work with Cesar Martinez. He was polite and gracious and a pleasure to work with. He was very accommodating in running the numbers on not just a used car, but helping me to figure out if a new car was in my price range. Not only that, but he was most gracious in conducting the deal with me in Spanish so that I could practice!! I cannot say enough, or praise him more highly for his professionalism. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because I was pushed to pay for a GPS anti-theft device and service that I did not want. Other than that I am very happy with my purchase. More

Buying Used car & Negotiation I was looking for a used vehicle. I chose to visit "The Autobarn Volkswagen of Mt.Prospect," because the dealership owned the car that I was looking f I was looking for a used vehicle. I chose to visit "The Autobarn Volkswagen of Mt.Prospect," because the dealership owned the car that I was looking for. I negotiated for 3days with different employees, Robert, Bojan, Raffi, Wesley, Dennis. I enjoyed negotiating with these employees. They knew what they were doing and friendly, and knows how to provide a good customer service. However, "Dennis Tomsa", he has really bad customer service. When we were in the middle of the negotiation, I couldn't tell if he was having conversation with me or he was yelling at me. I felt really disappointed and inconvenienced. I was about to leave the dealership because of Dennis. He needs to improve his customer service. More
