Robbie was a true salesperson during my experience. I had been to that particular dealer twice and test drove on one occasion and then asked questions and bought on another. Immediately upon entering the dealer I was greeted by Robbie and then he took me around the new 2011 Jetta and the features. My whole family is Jetta owners and so I am somewhat versed on the volkswagen products but Robbie walked me through the whole car and every little feature.... even the "true german" way of closing the trunk. He fought very hard to get me a fair price on my trade as well as a price I was comfortable with on the car itself. Price negotiations didn't take very long at all and he truly did everything he could to make my visit comfortable. He had to take a trip to another dealer and drive my car back and while he was gone I was urged to sit down and relax in the wonderful customer waiting area with comfortable couches and free coffee and water. I will definitely recommend this dealer to all friends and look forward to a long relationship with The Autobarn. They truly did an amazing job. More

After months of looking for a used car, I ended up at the Autobarn in Mt. Prospect to look at a specific vehicle that I had seen online. When I realized that it was not what I wanted, he found the perfect vehicle for me at their Evanston location. He was obviously listening when I talked about what I was looking for and located the car right away and had it brought to Mt. Prospect. Robbie was also listening when I told him what I was able to afford and I can honestly say that I am very pleased with the entire transaction including the down payment, monthly payments and the actual price paid for the car. I never felt as though I was being "jerked around" or talked down to which is very important to me. The service continued after the sale as I had a small issue about a week after the purchase and Robbie took care of it immediately. I have a VW dealership 2 minutes from my house but will be making the 30 minute drive to the Autobarn for anything that I need in the future. More

They provide you with updates along the way so you are never wondering if they forgot about you. And most importantly, they don't treat you like an idiot if you don't know much about cars. This winter I had to replace a tire on two separate occasions (thank you, city of Chicago streets). John Paul made the process as painless as possible. I went in to look at a specific car that I was interested in and I was greeted by Martin who was very friendly, after few minutes of conversation he knew exactly which car I came in to see. We took it for a nice test drive and went over the options & features. I decided to work on numbers to see what we can do. He fought to get me the price I was happy with and I was in and out of finance in no time. I visited Autobarn MP for the 20K mile service on my 09 VW CC, which had been quoted to me over the phone as costing $319. Imagine my surprise when Wojciech informed me it was actually free! On top of the service with a smile and price bonus, the work was completed in half the time that was quoted.
