Toyota of Richardson, and Manager Gerald Wiliams are not enjoyable to deal with. For all buyers from out of state or plan to travel to purchase from them I highly advise you go some where else. My reasoning for this recommendation stems from their extremely poor customer service. When contacting from online they will not respect your boundaries of communication and blame you when they cant communicate. When I sent my questions after making it noted that I am rarely available to take calls and text/email are my preferred methods of communication. I was told that not calling to communicate would "emailing when we have so many walk-ins would lose us this truck" and "this one wont last long" this is the first red flag. I had asked for information regarding a vehicle over text and email with multiple questions in each message or email. Which would either get no response or one half assed answer to one of the many questions I had. for example I asked about the number of keys and tires and other components of the truck the truck came with and the response I got was "yes it has 2 keys, we do offer extended warranty, tires are new, brakes are new, it has TRD suspension. Has 1 key" I then asked if it had 1 or 2 keys because I was understandably confused and was met with no answer until 9 pm when they texted to ask when I could see the truck and not to answer my question. I then asked about extended warranty price and information and was told that "I advised you on these things and answered them for you" rather than the sales associate sending me prices and information. Communication is red flag number 2. The final straw came when Toyota of Richardson emailed me to see if my questions were answered about my inquiry. I told them that the sales associate, Gerald, had not answered my questions. About five minutes later Gerald texted me saying "I have answered all your questions and it's documented through text and emails, we are not sure what else you need, when we call you don't answer, management is reviewing it also". I did not pick up because I physically cant receive phone calls at work, and explicitly told you I can only text and email. I advise all to stay far far away unless you have to, and if you must do business here tread lightly because they don't care about assisting their customers, all they want it to make a shady deal. I now live in Plano; and went to Toyota of Richardson for the fi I previously lived in Allen; and I went to Pat Lobb Toyota in McKinney for service. I now live in Plano; and went to Toyota of Richardson for the first time for an oil change and vehicle inspection. I like the service better at Toyota of Richardson. My service manager, Eddie C., was more attentive to my concerns. He made sure they were addressed and talked to me about his findings afterwards. I appreciate that. More
