Richard responded to my internet query, as did several other dealerships. We worked out a purchase price that sounded good, but I had to convince myself and work out the finances. I went back the next day to make sure this deal was the right one for me. He was so helpful and did not pressure me at all, but did whatever he could so I could purchase the car I wanted. He knew I was in love with that car and had it all ready for me that day. They made me a deal I couldn't refuse. i had no idea I would be driving the car home that day and was so surprised that I could. He stayed with me until 10:00PM when all the other paperwork was finished...he set up the controls and radio/phone for me. I trusted them so that I never even drove the car before I purchased it. My first ride in it was to my home. Wow...how could I do that? But I had 15 years of good dependability with my Camry that i was leaving there, so I felt this one had to be just as good. Can't believe that I got a little tearful leaving my 1998 Camry, I felt it had another 100,000 miles to go. I'm looking forward to the same good experience with this new, beautiful car. Great service by Adin Acevedo. I've been to modern/beautiful dealerships such as Headquarter Toyota walked right out. I'm not paying for dealer glam. I started working with Jodi after I was referred to her by Angela in their internet department. Let me just say that Jodi reinstated my faith in people going out of their way to help customers find the rig by Angela in their internet department. Unfortunately the only problem is there are "Managers" behind the counter who think every customer is the same and only thing that matters is their profit. I started my conversation with Jodi based on an online advertized special for lease on Sienna and Camry. I visited the dealership once but unfortunately they didn't have the right options on Sienna, they did have the Camry so we had to leave till Jodi could get the right trim/options Sienna. While at the dealership, unfortunately my wife and sons stayed in the car for a few minutes when we had arrived and they ran the ac/etc with the engine off and caused the battery to go dead. This was a very busy time for them and service was already closed but Jodi went out of her way to get us a jump, even though their jump start machine was not powerful enough but she tried her best to get the car up and running and asked for favors from other salesman to help me. A couple of days later they did have the two cars I liked and we went down there again. Me and my wife both took a test drive again and Jodi worked with us patiently. Then we decided to go ahead with the lease and I started discussing the numbers with Jodi. She made a few trips to the sales manager to see if the manager would come close to the numbers I was looking for. Leasing two cars in 1 day I expected excellent numbers. I have an excel sheet in which I created all calculations necessary to come up with lease numbers and I was guided by that when I was asking for the #s I wanted. Jodi even tried explaining my numbers to the manager who probably didn't agree but finally decided to meet with me. I told him what I wanted and he pushed a very high number. I told him that what I was looking for was based on my research and it was fair. Ultimately we came down to exchanging per month #s for all inclusive zero down lease. I refused his offer for $667 down plus $x per month and told him the # should be zero down and $x per month. so he says ok you got it we will give you zero down but the per months # will be $x+30, which effectively meant paying $400+ more for the entire lease than his own previous offer. Either his math was too poor or he thought that I cannot multiply and figure out what he was trying to pull. So after 1 hour of back and forth and having shown him on my excel sheet him how I came up to my #s the only trick this guy could think of was to try to fool me by adding the pork in the payment. My immediate answer to his offer, "Have a good a night!" and I got up. This guy didn't try to convince me further or say anything, he was willing to lose two car deal. The amazing part is I got my cars somewhere else for a few dollars less than what I had agreed to pay him. I feel very bad for Jodi who worked so hard to earn my business and get me the #s I wanted. Even after I told her I had leased my cars somewhere else she tried to maintain the relationship by inviting me to come down for scheduled maintenance which will be difficult since I live 40 miles away. If someone in management is reading this, please appreciate the work Jodi is doing for your company and I would recommend sitting down with the manager who was dealing with me and explaining to them that when you have a customer who knows a bit about #s, sneaking a deal with more money than you originally offered is definitely a no no! More

We have purchased many a car over the years and the transactions never went as smooth and quick as it did with Danny. This was a first new car purchase for our 25 year old daughter and both he and Mr. Kennedy in Finance Dpt. took the time to explain the process (several times) so she could learn and understand for the rest of her life how to complete a vehicle purchase. She actually lives on Orlando and goes to UCF, had gone to the dealership up there and left crying. She drove home here to Fort Lauderdale just for a day, as I was impressed with Danny's representation on the phone and his confidence he could help her. We will always remember Danny and Kennedy and will always direct anyone that asks to them for customer service. Hollywood Toyota Scion should be thankful for these men and their professionalism. On 2/20/13 we called Toyota of Hollywood inquiring about a used Sequoia. The Business and Development manager "Crockett" who answered, told us he had a Red 2012 Sequoia SR5 on the lot, with leather, sun ro a used Sequoia. The Business and Development manager "Crockett" who answered, told us he had a Red 2012 Sequoia SR5 on the lot, with leather, sun roof, towing package, 5.7L V8 engine and 18,000 miles for $29,995, (a price that we reconfirmed over the phone!) We identified ourselves as being an all cash buyer, nothing to trade in, that we had driven 3.5 hours from the Florida Keys, and this was exactly what we wanted...(this was a great price which sounded too good to be true?). When we arrived, we were greeted by a very nice salesman, Paul, who went to the "Manager" Crockett, whom we spoke to on the phone, and then he lead us out to the lot to "find" this Sequoia. Guess what..."it must be out on a test drive...can I show you a new Sequoia?" (He was obviously nervous and uncomfortable telling us this). We politely declined and told Paul that we wanted to go back in the showroom and see when the car would be back. Paul then had us sit while he went to talk to "Crockett" . When he returned, the "new story" was that the Sequoia was under contract...which was amazing since it was available 30 minutes earlier when we called. We asked to see the car anyway in case the contract fell through, but the reply was the car must be at another dealership...so apparently in 30 to 45 minutes the car had a test drive, was moved to another dealership and had a contract on it! So...anyone reading this can see the true picture, and where this story is heading...CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH! The aforementioned SR5 never existed! The NADA Guide rough trade in value is $31,900, and the Dealers "clean retail value" is $39,400!...it was a price that was too good to be true! Paul, our nice young salesman was very apologetic and offered us two Toyota ball caps (which we declined.) We never did get to meet Crockett, and he would not take our followup calls, nor return our message on his voice-mail to appologize! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS CLASSIC RIP OFF dealership. I am a long time Toyota owner (Solara convertible)...I love my Toyota...great product...but...this dealership is about as slimey as they get! Shop for your new or used Toyota elsewhere...they are great cars! More
