I had an issue with my steering wheel binding when turning, took it in and explained the steering rack was replaced not long ago. They told me a mounting bushing was missing and that instead of fixing turning, took it in and explained the steering rack was replaced not long ago. They told me a mounting bushing was missing and that instead of fixing that issue they would only be willing to replace the entire rack and pinion for $1200. So I ended up being charged $150 to be told they’ll only fix it the most expensive way they possibly can. Bunch of crooks. More
I test drove an older Ford 150. It was obviously a rougher conditioned car, but when I test drove it, the Emergency Brake light was on (even though the Emergency Brake wasn't engaged), as was another rougher conditioned car, but when I test drove it, the Emergency Brake light was on (even though the Emergency Brake wasn't engaged), as was another Service Engine light. I told the salesman about the lights after the test drive (I wasn't impressed with the truck at all and obviously didn't want to buy it). He came back and said that "We are selling that truck as is, but I can get you an estimate on how much it would cost to fix it." So he wanted to both sell me a car with mechanical issues AND charge me to fix it myself. No thanks. I did end up buying a Toyota though, which I'm very happy with. However, the haggling with the salesman over my trade in was very aggravating. I told them I had already been quoted a price from Carvana and that I was going to sell it to them for that price unless they could match it. Carvana was offering me 13,750, which I told them up front, so their first offer to me on my car was "12,000. You will NOT get 13,750 out of that car." So I said "Okay, well Carvana is going to give me that, so I will just sell it to them and go down to Grove City and buy this truck down there" to which he angrily stormed away and a "manager" came out and tried to tell me they were going to offer me a deal, and give me 12,500 for my car, to which I replied "I'm not stupid. Why would I leave money on the table? Now, if you'll give me my keys, I can go ahead and be on my way." Long story short, I got what Carvana was going to offer me and a lower price on the truck, but the road to get that was garbage. I was only saved by Carvana's price AND the fact that I didn't actually need a new car. I would definitely recommend talking to Carvana or Carmax and having a price in hand before coming here. More
Nathan leaves a lot to be desired. His condescending attitude cost him any chance to ever earn my business. His lack of desire to support me in making a meaningful offer on the vehicle I had in mind, and his unwillingness to approach his manager with an offer on my behalf is incredibly disappointing. The main reason that we purchased our Highlander from them is because of their fantastic salesman- Melvin. It was a cold rainy day and he loaded us up in a car and drove us around the lot to look at Highlanders. We explained which features and options we wanted our SUV to have & he wouldn't give up until he found us what we were looking for. We didn't find exactly what we were looking for on the first day. He did somemore digging and found something he thought that we would like and texted us and asked us to come back the following day. My husband and I did like what he found but asked if he could give us a minute to discuss it. He went away and when he came back, instead of waiting for us to ask him what the bottom dollar was on it, he had already went to his boss and told us what they could do. It was lower than what we would have asked for. He even threw in a few extras that most car dealers won't do anymore including unlimited lifetime car washes. Melvin went above and beyond what most car salesman do these days and Toyota Direct has not did us wrong whatsoever. I highly recommend Melvin at Toyota Direct!! More

I have called and left 6 voicemail for Jonathan Smith (finance) since all of last week but none of my calls have been returned by Jonathan. This is very disrespectful. I experienced the same thing in 2016 when I bought my car from them. The only time I got a call back from Toyota direct was after I posted my reviews on different platforms online. After the 2016 incident I vowed never to do business with them again but this time my friend convinced me to work with a salesman (Rich) who won't let my previous experience happen again. I texted Rich on 10/22 asking "who I can talk to about canceling my vehicle service contract" but today is 10/26 and he still hasn't responded. The last time he contacted me was 10/21 because he needed some information from me to complete the sale. Every institution holds its staff to a certain standard but I believe this Toyota direct respects money more than people. Take your business elsewhere if you want to be treated like a human being. I have some few days to resolve this issue yet nobody in the finance department is willing to fix it since Jonathan Smith is the person I worked with. More

Long story short, my son and I came halfway across the state to look at 2 cars, one was at Toyota Direct. Andrew Brownlow and my 16 yr old son had conversed for a week prior to meeting on Oct 17, 2020. Andrew was very busy, and it was nearing closing time on a Saturday, but still cordially took his time with my son and I on his first purchase. Andrew wasn't pushy, answered all of our questions, was patient with us in making this big purchase, and was very professional from start to finish. I can count all the great & honest Sales Associates I've ever dealt with on 4 fingers, ANDREW BROWNLOW IS ONE OF THOSE FOUR!! (And I've bought a lot of cars) My son Luke chose a 2011 Honda Accord as his first car (after he did a lot of his own research). Thank you Andrew for being the professional that I would expect you to be!! Can't remember the guy's name in finance, but he might have been the easiest and fastest finance guy I've EVER dealt with. Tired to buy a Camry for my father for Father’s Day, called the dealer and told the sales team what I wanted and they told me they had 2 options for me. I came in spoke with sales, and gave them a 1000$ called the dealer and told the sales team what I wanted and they told me they had 2 options for me. I came in spoke with sales, and gave them a 1000$ deposit and they assured me they would have my car to me in just a few days. Few days go by and I tried to call to see where my cars at and they tell my car is still coming, after a week I call again and they tell me the same, than they stop picking up my calls. Finally I get ahold of my sales person and they tell me my car had sold and they are looking for another. I was very upset and told them I wanted my deposit back. If they were straight up and honest It would be one thing. But they tried to string me along thinking I would never find out my car was sold weeks earlier. Fast forward to now, I found a car for myself on Their lot, so I figure I’ll just go look at it as the description on Autotrader states “ready for sale today” so I drive down and they tell me the cars not yet available and they don’t have an Estamated delivery date. I’m not sure what’s going on with this dealer but they are extreamly unprofessional. More
